Hey Guys,

http://bitcat.ch/

I found this game in the forums, and thought you'd all like it. It's quite interesting for sure, and it's better if you don't tell your friends because you could get the jackpot!

Play for fun, and see what happens in a week from now. Smiley

Is this just a scam, or does it really work?

Did my words move you? Or did they bring you to enlightenment? Feel free to give some ฿ to me: 1DKMAfeDswYf9MFjWxjPCfjEVkgmXvnizo

It's legitimate.

it wreaks of Ponzi...

A pyramid scheme of sorts. You know what you're getting into before hand though. Just a gamble.

BitCatch author here.
No, it's not a scam, it won't steal your money, but you can lose your bet. It just like other gambling, the only difference is that the earlier you made your bet the higher your chances to get your reward, but you never know when it is right time to stop, you never know when it becomes risky to make new bets, it may be from two hours after game starts, may be from two days, or even weeks.
But rules differs from round to round, for instance, upcoming round starts this Friday and ends in Sunday, so it'll be running only for two days, but person (to be clear address) who make more bets in the second day will take the jackpot.

Why not? I'm not seeing any abnormalities with javascript enabled.

Just wondering if you walk through vegas muttering this is a scheme...
The man said it was gambling.
I am going to be blunt for the newbies here,
In the bitcoin community there is an epic lack of coddling and nurturing. Which is good.
I dont want someone telling me I shouldnt risk my money because of the chance of losing it. Its not a scam and thats all that matters. If it does what it says, then its all good. you dont have to play if it isnt a favorable situation in your opinion. Enjoy the fact that you can basically market any functional idea that isnt a scam (you can market a scam i guess too, please dont), and no one is breathing down your neck telling you how to run it or taking little slices of all your pay.
The only thing you or I have to do is be careful and consider every transaction a risky investment, which requires due diligence.
This particular game has a bunch of proof that it isnt a scam or some negative connotation "scheme" .

Seriously, embrace your freedoms while you have them.

As the creator, let me guess how early you made your bet...

The only reason I am sticking up for this is because I ran a game that was similar (and I didnt bet on it). Only we used to run these games from a cheapo google docs spreadsheet with open access. The fact that he programmed the site, instead of just using the spreadsheet is a big sign he isnt just trying to take it all. Not to mention he is paying people out...sooo... by definition it isnt a scam. Quit hating. Make your own automated game, and try to compete with his if you think you can do better. This is the wild west of finance more power to him, as long as he doesn't abuse the power its all good.
