If it is on twitter some people tends to follow back when you follow them, but I don't know any other ways to gain subscribers and followers since I am not that fond of social media campaigns.

And with how many subscribers does it cost to work in the bounty? 

It depends on the campaign you want to join, it should be stated on their bounty thread. You can earn some altcoins via social media campaigns with as little as 100-200 followers and above sometimes.

There is no quick and effective way of getting a lot of followers/subscribers in social media, unless you have contacts with a celebrity to get your account promoted through them.  Otherwise, you have to grow steadily to a certain level from where you can join the campaigns with the least required followers/subscribers. I think you can join some if you reach around 250-300 followers/subscribers. That, I think is the minimum required tier for some bounty campaigns.

Don't use any fake ways to gain followers. You have to wait for a little period to make money through this method. I think its better to wait rather than trying to cheat because it can be a bad thing for your future in the forum.

Next you must download any application on browser, for example "Mass follow for Twitter" , then try to invite everybody with mass follow.
