According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

It certainly looks that way.

I've held escrow for multiple transactions for him and never had an issue with him for the escrow transactions.  Looks like he was just waiting for someone to be willing to skip the escrow so he could scam them.

Exactly. I cant agree enough, even a seemingly stand up guy will fuck you at the first opportunity. I admit, I got impatient and decided to go ahead and skip escrow (although he had no problem waiting for escrow). Bam, screwed. Hopefully he'll get his. USE ESCROW USE ESCROW USE ESCROW. Danny, John K, they provide a great service to this community.
