Why did this happen?

Only https://www.blockonomics.co/ works.

blockchain.info still sucks, they don't have information on bech32 addresses. They only show that an address in bech32 was involved in the transaction but what I mean is if you try to click them you can't, they are greyed out as you see:

https://blockchain.info/tx/714e0aac85acd5748094c1a9b792ee847cbe2e9544e5d4f73bdbd0437550cda4

I have been using btc.com

same transaction:

https://btc.com/714e0aac85acd5748094c1a9b792ee847cbe2e9544e5d4f73bdbd0437550cda4

As you see, you can click on the bech32 addresses and see the information:

Because just like not all wallets support bech32... Not all blockexplorers support bech32...

Uptake has been slow... Hopefully, with Bitcoin Core v0.16.0 implementing support for bech32, it'll help with uptake and the snowball effect will start and more and more services, wallets and exchanges will get onboard.

Always has and always will. What can you do? Well use a different explorer of course. Yeah I prefer btc.com, it's the best for bech32 addresses ATM. I'm assuming blockchain.info will eventually get caught up, but they aren't exactly the most tech savvy company out there. They just happened to fumble their way into getting the name "blockchain" and people think that sounds official. Other than that, they don't have a leg to stand on.

For the sake of accessibility, why does the very own bitcoin site bitcoin.org didn't have its own official block explorer?
Sites like bitcoin.com have that feature and newbies might trust that site more than the official one.

By the way, https://live.blockcypher.com/ doesn't support bech32 addresses too.

There's no "official bitcoin site". If bitcoin.org tries to be as decentralized as possible they can't endorse any specific explorer or anything else. People should find their own explorers.

My favorites are btc.com and blocktrail.com, but I think btc.com is the best one. The design is simple and doesn't bloat my browser with useless stupid things.

Even if blockchain.info has the best design imo, I got tired of them waiting to give segwit address support so ditched them.
