Recently,I came across a thread where the price of this coin was so drastically different on different exchanges that it made it look worthless.For instance,it was traded at Binance @ $49 and @Gate.io @$9.Those figures don't look statistically correct and I don't know what to make of it.Since the fork,coin has been dumped hard.Only the one's who got their free BCD were lucky enough to get some money if they didn't hold for long.

WTF is that BCD,don't get attracted to the forked coins because it is prefixed with bitcoin because most of the coin will lose its value soon so it is never good to invest on any forked coins including BCH,because they are just free coins from fork so in future it may don't have any value so it is better to move on to some altcoin with better technology.

I really don't think it's a good option to invest in BCD. It's some sort of scam I believe. If not scam, I think it's gonna create you troubles like technical malfunctioning. Also the trading of this coin isn't taken up much by people. The exchanges on which it is traded have no reliability. I may also mention one more point hereby that the wallets used may also not be safe because they are third party softwares. And yes of course the price difference on different exchanges is yet another point that draws our attention towards dubious nature of this coin.

I wouldn't trust this for a typical arbitrage oppurtunity.. this coin has been pumped and dumped quite a bit.. and even with arbitrage you can likely get burned or get stuck waiting for a pump for weeks or months.

Theres really two outcomes from this that will happen and both are negative..

1) You'll go for the arbitrage flip and realize that the exchange where its lower or higher has a wallet in maintenance or down...

or

2) even worse the arbitrage when you buy small works and teaches you poorly so you go bigger next time and really get burned.


My rule of thumb is if arbitrage is breaking more than 5-8% then theres gonna be bots firing off every second to hundreds if not thousands of people.. and if the arbitrage price isn't correcting with all these people involved, its probably for a good reason.  Please be careful with this coin because other than occassionally really pumping, this coin has really no value or use case.

My vote is avoid this altogether, but if you do it.. go small.. and even if successful don't let it dictate future moves.

Everything is based on speculation here. If you think that the price could skyrocketed in the future then why not? The only problem is that its another fork, another coins born out of bitcoin. So just like any other altcoins, it will not gain enough traction for this community and with that said, another pump-and-dump. Are you willing to ride the waves? Can you exit on time to make you profits? Another indication is the different prices across trading sites. It could be a sign that its being pump and when the wallet is released, expect a sudden dump and the price crashes to the bottom.

I do not recommend to buy or invest there because if you see the coin that has the same symbol is also created and you should be more careful to choose coin for investment.

I don't think it is good to invest because this coin is base on bitcoin because what if the price of the bitcoin decrease it will decrease also.  And bro uf the coin will not have official wallet they did not have withdrawal it is not good because you cannot get your BCD.  Invest only the coin you know have potential becuse we know the bitcoin diamond is replica of the bitcoin.

From my point of view, it isn't good to invest. One thing you need to know that lots of trash altcoins come up and would lose their value then disappear soon. You shouldn't buy it because of the prefix of bitcoin. What we should invest or buy are the coins that many people have already known and potential to increase due to interesting features.

I'm not familiar with it but if this is the case as you have describe it then as investors I would doubt if you are willing to partake because of the lack of support from development team. I would rather put my money on other altcoins such as Ethereum which has a proven track record already.

And its strange if the price difference along exchanges are that high, although we have seen this kind of pattern before even to bitcoin and take advantage of it thru arbitrage. But I agree that we need to be very cautious right now. The people behind might be pumping to look as if people are really investing to it, but in reality its just artificial growth.

I think you should pass! BCD price is higher on some exchanges(binance) because deposits/withdrawals are disabled and on other exchanges (okex,gate etc..) price is lower because they have enabled deposits/withdrawals. it would be better to invest in something else or just hodl your bitcoins.

Some things I do are: Check out the project code. See if development has been progressing, dig into the code itself if you're a programmer. Read the white paper! Yes, this takes time. Yes, it can be complicated. Still, this is a great way to understand your investment BEFORE YOU INVEST. Look up the developers and important lead roles on LinkedIn, GitHub, Twitter, etc. If you can't find consistent accounts with names, faces, and past projects, this is a BIG red flag that the ICO may be a scam.

Yes sure if you are ready to burn up some of your cash then go invest in it. Its a pump and dump coin created by the developers. They occasionally give a pump in its value and give out a great dump afterwards. The pump is sometimes so weird that on one exchange the price is too high from that of another. It has almost zero chances to grow in long term until obviously John Mcafee tweets about it LOL. So I would say no instead go for LTC. Still has a better future.

You're right about what you concerning BCD and I won't advice anyone to invest into LTC either cause my affection towards the coin changed ever since I learned about LTC creator selling all is his holding.

I think you shouldn't invest your money in BCD and all other coin created from Bitcoin hard fork. BCD is not a good coin and its potential is also not good as well. Forget BCD and find out the better cryptocurrency to invest in like ETH or NEO or maybe it's XLM if you don't have much money to invest but never investing in BCD

I wouldn't. And the variation in prices are as you say because in certain places it can't be deposited or withdrawn. The places you can the price is a fraction of the frozen ones.

The market for these fork coins is hideously distorted and there's no way of telling whether any of them have a future. If you got some free ones, great. If you didn't then I'd let it play out in peace.

dont waste your money here, there are lots of coins in market, if you ask me then i will suggest you some coins, and mind it never invest in bcd .
