bittrex have done the decent thing and given people enough time to withdraw their coins. i don't really see what the issue is here. when it comes to forks i wouldn't be inclined to believe anything a third party tells me they're gonna do. control your own coins and you're set.

Why do you think Bittrex is lying? According to telegram, they *will try* to fullfil the requirements and make an explorer. Bittrex is a private venue and could do whatever they decide. If you want the airdropped coins at 100%, withdraw it to a wallet where you own the private key.

IMO a lot of exchanges will not support it and keep the coins as pure profit. Most already did it with previous forks.

Lately I often see crypto handing out free money through airdrop, and now it's Ethereum Classic turn. At the launch of Callisto, all accounts with an ETC balance in block 5500000 will receive CLO. Is this information correct?

Lying about what?  I think that's as clear as night and day that they can't list CLO even if they wanted to.  But I heard the CLO blockchain won't be ready til the end of March or something, so it might get listed in a month or so.

I am not so worry about this.  I have ETC and hold it for the long time and I use MEW classic. MEW classic will support ETC/CLO airdrop. Those who wanted to speculate on ETC price yes this a bad news

I don't think you can blame Bittrex team for not supporting the airdrop snapshot, it was made clear that Ethereum classic team contact them recently and since there are alot of technical preparations to put in place, they will not be supporting it. I think ETC team is the one to blame for this not exchanges

I am inclined to believe the establishment over the new incoming people on this one. If they really wanted Callisto listed, they would have gotten it done in due time but it seems like they didn't care to. Would be shocked to find out Bittrex took the coins for themselves, they don't strike me as that kind of company.

Yes, Bittrex did well. Now it is not difficult to send coins from one exchange to another. You will need a few minutes for this. The fact that Bittrex doesn't support Callisto suggests that this fork will be weak and useless.

I honestly dont know why anyone would want to buy the CLO airdrop. They are airdropping on a 1:1 ration, only the supply of CLO is 65 times larger.
