Recently, my motherboard crashed on my computer, and I used the Backup Wallet... with the Bitcoin-QT wallet and saved it to a USB stick. I have installed the client onto my new computer, and it is currently downloading the blockchain. Simply put, how do I get my bitcoin into my new wallet?

I have read through the following article, https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Securing_your_wallet, but I am still a little unclear about all of this.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Why don't you just use your old wallet?

Install Bitcoin-QT, replace wallet.dat with the old one and sync. The bitcoin will show in your wallet after the syncing process encounter these in blockchain. wallet.dat is somewhere under Documents and Settings subfolder...
