in my opinion - leader is a person, who is in front of everybody and helping everybody to achieve goals.
Boss is a person, who always commands, tells you what to do, angers and so on.
Personally for me, leader and boss are 2 opposite sides of one thing)

This is their immediate difference. There were lots of differentiation of being a good team leader and being a boss. A boss bosses around, while the leader leads the team. From the root word itself it give us the meaning or definition to whether its substantiation is good or bad.

A leader is a good servant. He always takes care of his subordinates. The Boss is just giving orders for his benefit without even understanding the needs of his employees.

very much different between leaders and superiors, because between the two it is indeed that holds the peak of the same position in a company and office. but a leader is in charge of a project that is not a government agency, while the superiors are in government circles

A leader is emotionally intelligent and knows how to make its employees do things in a non-aggressive way. The boss is just someone that orders.

Leader is someone who has leadership that can teach or guide his subordinates to achieve a goal.

Boss is one who orders his men to work hard without directing or teaching and guiding his subordinates.

A leader will be responsible for the wrongs committed by his subordinates, but a boss will not take responsibility and they will blame his subordinates.

A leader takes a position that would make followers call him their mentor but a boss would always want a "sir" a "ma" after their names.
A leader leads in a followers' act while a boss bosses like he owns it all.

Good leaders spend time listening to their employees rather than talking above them. They understand the value of seeking and incorporating the opinions of others into the decision-making process. On the other hand, bosses tend to dominate conversations. They expect employees to listen and carry out their commands, with little or no direction. This type of attitude is not a sound approach to building a team of engaged employees who want to be valued for their knowledge and skills.

Leaders motivate their employees, which then inspires them to follow their leader’s example. Bosses tend to push employees instead of directing them. True leaders frequently present ideas and work alongside their employees. They clearly communicate objectives to the team and their actions are aimed at achieving goals together. This is the difference between inspiring team members and losing their respect.

Leaders offer sound advice in a private setting, while bosses tend to scold and may even threaten their employees, which can leave them feeling concerned, embarrassed and defeated. Leaders can deliver discipline too, but their approach in doing so should be a learning experience for employees to redirect their efforts away from what is not working.

Some bosses tend to ignore a majority of their employees. This can give other workers the sense they are drifting with an uncertain future. Leaders don’t ignore. They invest time and effort into developing employees in their profession, teaching them new skills and helping them advance in their career.

a leader is one who despite his or her position as the first and commanding force, always sees the beauty of association through sacrifices, patience, good stewardship abilities by subjecting himself to the good and better of his group and people he leads while a boss is he who gives commands whether it be pleasing or not, he really does not care much about the people under him but tends to focus mostly on the business aspects of their relationship; him and his workers.

A boss manages their employees, while a leader inspires them to innovate, think creatively, and strive for perfection. Every team has a boss, but what people need is a leader who will help them achieve greatness. Not sure how to tell the difference between the two? Here are some key traits that differentiate bosses from leaders.

The difference between a leader and a Boss is that, a Leader guides  you what to do, while on the other hand , Boss tells you what to do, A leader is more concern with its worker while Boss is concerned more with the projects and company goals.

A leader must have a leader's soul, work hard for the team, set a good example to his subordinates, and be responsible to the team. While the boss is in charge of control and make sure all the work goes well
