I tried to mine electroneum with my cpu and I dont find it good for me. The hash rate was pretty decent but the coins I do get after a block mined is not worth my time or the work I am putting into it.

Do you guys think that mining electroneum with gpu is worth a try or just failure?

reply from miners appreciated.

depends on the GPU series. but to my knowledge, if use GPU better to mine on ETH, ETC, Zec because of those coins which I feel profitable. 4 months ago, I once mine ETN used 2U 12 cores 24 threads and get 30 ETN per day. but for now, it is not profitable.

If you think there is some future about it, then speed some hashing power.

I'm using a threadripper with 2 Vega Frontier, currently making about 1000 per week or just under, I have 4 FE (just bought 1 off ebay) so will be adding a further 2 come easter holidays when I'll have more time and then they will be watercooled and further overclocked. Planning holding till the price is right since I'm well paid and short term money is no object. Not a typical budget rig but I made loads on ether so ROI is no object, just mining as a hobby now

What are you after at? Profits?

simulate GPU's thru online calculators www.whattomine.com from there you can have an idea if indeed its profitable.

what a true miner deed is to mine and HOLD.

Yes i think same here with GPU mining. Maybe electroneum mining is not that good choice to mine with gpu;s. I rather have to take a look at ETH or ETC.
because ETH and ETC has a great future I do believe.

Considering the [Suspicious link removed]d" ranking, it's not that bad Smiley
The dev are doing price control. They prefer to keep it low atm. SO if you dont plan to hold for long time ... go on eth.

Come on guys, some are complaining of not reflection of their mined ETN to their wallet. But, It reflected on my wallet in less than 30 minutes! Mehn ETN team are doing their best! I love this project as always!

May 30th will improve because it will have the anti-asic fork:

Try to mine CryptonightLite/IPBC coins. It's very cache-friendly and run smoothly in most CPUs

I recommend the JCE-Miner. It's the fastest for me.

ETN is a ASIC lake of whales.

I am heavily invested in the project from a mining standpoint. My opinion is that the coin has potential in the future because of the team behind it. With that said, as of this moment, it is not profitable or efficient to mine with GPU's with the ASIC's currently dominating the blockchain. In two weeks this will be a different story after the proof of work fork which will "kick" the ASIC's off of the blockchain. I am still purchasing the tokens at this point from the profits I earn from mining other coins. Here is a video I just made yesterday that talks about my results so far.
