Let me introduce new Bitcoin mining calculator - http://www.bitreturn.com/

This is how it's different from other calculators:
- simple interface; very easy to use
- shows forecasted difficulty and network speed charts
- calculates ROI
- ability to add several mining hardware assets
- shows generated cash flows chart
- remembers entered data

Don't hesitate to ask questions. Your suggestions are very welcomed!

Hope it can help you to save on ASIC pre-orders.

If those default numbers are anywhere what will happen, then that is possibly the most depressing chart for anyone who already owns or has on order any mining hardware whatsoever!

Great design, however when I Inputted my information and as a ROI of over 2000% for a split second I couldn't realise what I had done wrong. Then I realised I'm UK and I guess you are USA. That date format thing again. Lol after inputting in USA format my ROI fell to -80%. That's more like I expected!

May I ask for a way to alter electric and pool costs please.

Rluner, thank you for the feedback. Yes, I'm using USA date and numbers formatting.
Ability to alter electric and pool costs is already on my to do list.

someone needs to make a forecast like this that accounts for the point where the network tapers out slightly. at current BTC value there is no way any current/soon-coming miner would be profitable past february due to power consumption limitations, and this would create a ceiling to the exponential growth

24" PCI-E cables with 16AWG wires and stripped ends - great for server PSU mods, best prices https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=563461
No longer a wannabe - now an ASIC owner!

One thing I know for certain is that any chart that looks like the first one has always resulted in a massive correction .

An example is seen in bitcoin price when it went to $270 ,what happened very shortly after ?

This is a Bitcoin example, but there are lots of others ,if anyone has an example of a financial chart showing vertical increases without being followed by an equally sharp decrease I would be surprised to see it .

More recently we saw a vertical decreace in price sharply followed by an immediate vertical increase.

If that chart were price related ,then it would be a perfect short oppotunity ,although history proves humans are more prone to buy in such situations .

The default kWh price is 15 cents. I'll put this on website. Probably it needs to be customizable.

Yes, basically it takes current network hash rate and applies the growth rate specified by user, difficulty calculations are based on network hash rate.

Pretty cool should add the bitmaintech equipment like the antminer s1 s2 and s3 in default list. Also is there any place to edit kwh costs?
