Hi,
I got my Asicminer Blade a week ago, and got it all setup thanks to dogie's awesome guide! The issue that I am having is with the Stratum Proxy. I run the Stratum Proxy, and the Blade connects and starts hashing, it gets up to 10.7ghs for about 6 - 8 mins, then restarts. I average out at around 6.9ghs overall, which is very frustrating. I swapped the power supply with a different one, made sure that the neutrals are bonded together(soldered), and there are all 0's and no x's; I have cooling on both sides of the Blade. Thinking that the Blade was defective, I contacted Asicminer for RMA. They responded saying its due to the Blade not getting enough work and because it's idle, it restarts...and they asked to have it connected to a getwork protocol to see if it works w/o restarting. I connected the Blade to a pool running getwork, and it hashes t 10.7 ghs and NO RESTARTS. I have a Verizon Fios wireless router MI424WR (Blade is wired direct to router) and thought it might be due to the wireless, so I disabled the wireless to see if it was that, and still same issue with Stratum, I also disabled the firewall on the PC that Stratum is running on too, same issue...I ran the Blade through BFGminer, and BFGminer says its "Sick" after the same time frame of 6 - 8 mins. I bought a little 5 port switch to see if that might solve the problem, but to be honest, I seriously doubt it.

I really would like to get this Blade running with Stratum without it restarting, Please help!

Best Regards

I don't know that this helps you, but I also have a blade hooked directly to a Verizon FIOS MI424WR, wireless is enabled, but I need to run either slush's stratum/getwork proxy or the bfgminer 32-bit Windows proxy and it works flawlessly.

My understanding is that the blade only can do getwork and the most reliable configuration is blade -> stratum proxy -> stratum pool. However, the consequence of not doing it that way is latency, not reboots. Not a solution to your problem, but just some additional data when you're troubleshooting.

That's how I have it when connecting to a Stratum pool. Blade--Stratum Proxy--Stratum Pool and I get the restarts...
