Hello,

I've played MtG since 95 and love the philosophy of Bitcoin, which is why I have decided to launch an online Mtg card shop, using Bitcoin for payment !

With the growing popularity of BTC, I hope I'll be able to attract customers with a similar outlook  Smiley

I'll be focusing on hot cards (mainly Modern and Legacy). My stock is quite limited for the time being but I hope to be able to expand quickly.

Please take a look, all comments welcome : http://www.bitcoinmtg.com/

Hard to make any real profit though unless you grab a case of boxes of packs.

This is a great idea. I love the website too. It would be awesome if you carried packs and boxes as well. How do you like using WooThemes?

Thanks ! WooThemes is very user-friendly Smiley

I will think about adding packs for sale, but as Izerian pointed out, it is harder to make a profit with packs ^^

If you add packs for sale, everybody'll constantly accuse you of rigging it (since we don't have provably fair packs yet  Tongue). So, don't do it, more trouble than its worth.

Anyways, props to you for creating this. It eventually needed to be done and the site generally looks great. If I wasn't the stingiest person on the planet when it comes to Bitcoin I'd totally take those ravnica duals off of ya Smiley

EDIT: Damn, no full set of duals Sad

Do you plan on changing your MtG exchange into a Bitcoin exchange at one point?

MtGox 2? Oh God, please, no. MtGox is incompetent enough as it is. Wink

I would really love a site like this! Currently I have to buy gift cards to buy cards from websites. Would be nice if I could just buy directly Smiley Not much stock now, but will definitely keep me eye on this!

I am happy to see this project! As a former MTG ebay powerseller who wishes to convert entirely to BTC commerce, activity in this niche industry is nice to see.

Advertising is going to be key for your success, second only to building your reputation.

If you are more technically-minded and inventory is a hindering factor, creating a tcgplayer-esque site could have some merit. Alternatively, creating an MTG-specific interface that interacts with listings on bitmit or elsewhere could work. Apologies if this is not something you wish to pursue.
