I’m a newbie to the digital currency, I’ve seen the price of bitcoin last year was only $2000 and ethereum was just only $90. I’m so shocked in the month of December 2017, the price of bitcoin and ethereum got skyrocket. As of now, I’m planning to store more fund especially on ethereum. Am I too late to stack up some ethereum? Is there a probability that ethereum still goes skyrocket the price? And may I ask, is holding more ethereum coin good for the future?

I guess it's also everyone's opinion. I also keep's and hold my ethereum on my wallet because it has high probability to skyrocket so your decision to hold more ethereum is perfectly good in the near future. And probably it's never to late.

You will definitely receive profit from holding Ethereum but already not so much as you could receive holding last year. Ethereum already has big capitalization and will rise very fast.

The Ethereum is the best altcoin yet. Thanks to the active implementation of the ICO on the ether platform, the price of the coin will increase. So far there is no reason for the collapse of the ETH.

There is no way you won't even have more Ethereum tokens, one of the things that help Ethereum is that is has simply the need to have your own blockchain when you want to run applications on blockchains, project like ICON, QTUM, Tezo, EOS, NEO etc are now in the same space with Ethereum to build on their infrastrucutre

ETH is NOT A LONG TIME INVESTMENT. Are people aware of what are saying??

Please, if you have no clue just STFU.

Vitalik will apply Casper in the very near future. Trading is what increases the value of the coin. Since with Casper, the coin will not be traded since PoS will not allow coins to stay away from the blockchain, and it will be made impossible to mine due to difficulty bomb, ETH will only get the value of Smart contracts, which today means losing like 80% of it's value

Vitalik has said will not allow people to increase the amount of coins available (the more coins, the less money with PoS revenue profit). So ETH is RIGHT NOW. There is no future for ETH rather than now. In fact, the future of ETH is Vitalik applying Casper.

BTC no more than 6k by end of 2019. ETH no more than 300$ by end 2019. Huge market manipulation, huge amount of scammers and hypers.

I think that the best investment for long is bitcoin, all other coins grow with respect to it.

I agree, but Ethereum with growth will give much more profit than bitcoin and it is also reliable.

Chill people has and have a lot of opinion base on what they see especially there experience so If I were please ask nicely and you should nicely disagree with what people said a there suggest or answer to the main topic.

Also people have a clue because of there experiences on trading and especially holding ethereum so you should have just spoke nicely and just tell your opinion on were they could invest. Or come to think about your the one should not post here at all you dont have nice miners you know (basing the way you post).

Yes its base on you on how will you take care of it to be true as base on what I learn you should be atleast aware on values in the market. Holding is good and nice if you are indid aware of everything like hacking and sharing your personal electronic stuff like cellphone and laptop were you use to open the wallet.

To me my main answer for the question is bitcoin its the best and no hassle when it comes to trading as now bitcoing is rising and have a great chance so its never been to late to invest on bitcoin, so go now and create a wallet (if you dont have any)and buy bitcoin.

You yourself said that the price of Ethereum repeats the trend of bitcoin. I don't think I need to keep all my savings in one coin. The main contribution should be in bitcoins. All other coins can make about 30% of your savings. I think that the price of bitcoin this year will rise by 2 times. The price of Ethereum will rise no more than 30-40 %.

Why not, it's one of the bigger coins with a lot of developments.
But I don't think it's a better investment than bitcoin.

Ofcourse it is, Ethereum is really profitable in the future since it has high potential coin. Many ongoing and upcoming ICO are using Ethereum platform it is a huge factor for eth's price. Also no doubt eth is still one of the best coin out there.

OFC Holding more is always profitable, not as more as trading, but less risky.

That's what happened last year, the same question and inquiries when eth and bitcoin are still in that state of prices, then now the price increase not just the two coins but most of the altcoins are tremendously vast, if you are an early investor and waited for this moment of time then you probably gained 500 - 1000% return on investments, so they are going to increase again? always remember that history repeats itself, ETH are proven, tested and widely adopted throughout the ICO's.

It looks like some people are trying FUD in this thread. The ethereum will not fully migrate to the pos system. That will become a good longterm investment. Dnn't be fooled by others are saying ethereum is not a longterm investment. They are ethereum haters. Casper will try to determine the total supply of ethereum and you can try to staking your ethereum in the blockchain. but ethereum is not fully become the pos coin. It's following hybrid system.
