It stems from demand, if people want to purchase things using bitcoin gold then ICOs and the likes will allow them to do so. If there's very little call for it from the community then they won't offer it.

Bitcoin gold doesn't have much of a future, it won't ever compete.

When the time bitcoin gold has been splitted in the fork time. There are many people invested on mining goes to bitcoin cash for mining it. After that we found the huge fees impact issue on the bitcoin.

In my opinion Bitcoin Gold is a dead coin, nobody accepts it, there are no good developments, no partnerships. In fact, even bitcoin cash is heavily suspected to be a pump and dump. Yes they have support of bitcoin community many people talking about Bitcoin Cash and no one is talking about Bitcoin gold. There are few people now saying Bitcoin is not future Currency, Bitcoin Cash is the future currency.

Apparently, Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash are a world more famous and widely accepted as compared to Bitcoin Gold.  This is enough to say that companies, ICOs, and even shops, will be accepting more of Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash than Bitcoin Gold. However, there also several ICOs that accept Bitcoin Gold. Bitcoin is above all of them of course. However, Bitcoin Cash has some very influential team members that have so many followers and connections that their fork is a little bit stronger than Bitcoin Gold. And then Bitcoin Gold is a bit friendlier than the hostile Bitcoin Cash.

A lot of these coins seem to think if you create a fork and you pump it a little until you can get some value for your free coins, then you can simply stop supporting it. For any coin to really work, you have to build a strong community and network around it.

You also have to aggressively market the coins to merchants to get it into shops. If there is no use case, then people will stop buying it. This is the reason why Bitcoin Gold is falling on the way side now.

Bitcoin Gold is not convenient and protected enough, therefore it does not in great demand. The project was done in a hurry, so there are multiple shortcomings. It's not surprising that bugs or critical vulnerabilities get out on the way. I do not think that this project will be successful. However, such an opportunity can not be excluded. BCH has no real track record or development team. When push comes to shove BTC will win because the issues which affected BTC have been fixed. Fees are cheap again and confirmations super fast.

I wish I had sold some of those worthless BTGs 2 months ago. They were worth 4 times more than they are now, but I was too scared to install any of their software and risk my BTC. Now they are so cheap that it's not even worth my time to retrieve them and exchange, so I'll wait a bit more and hope that rising BTC will drag all the shitcoins up with it.
As for BCH, I don't like it because of how much Ver and his team are trying to push it. The more someone wants me to believe in something the less I actually do. And that angry middle finger at an interview is a big nono.
