I think the ETH great for long-term investment. While we expect a massive growth is normal if the value rises and falls.
Not sure whether it will fall to $ 400, I do not think so, but, yes, it would be normal to see the value ET crashing before stabilizing.

To be well understood, I believe in Ethereum's potential (even though so far I have lost money investing in Ethereum, but I notice that it is still a good project and this will makes it to explode one day) and I still believe that by the end of 2018 it will have an increase of thousands of dollars, but at the same time I feel that it will drop much more than it is now before starting the growth again.

I think etherium will get back to 400 dollars, because bitcoin will going down to 4000$ and ether will follow him. But it's only my opinion.

Yes, since price is volatile everything is possible in crypto. This time ethereum drops I still think price can go soaring high this year. So for me it is good to buy ethereum abd invest for long term.

Personally I feel the opposite. ETH is still tied to BTC but it's a matter of time till smart contracts and all the infrastructure currently being built comes to fruition. The whole crypto market is in a bit of a lull atm whilst prices go sideways. I'd say it's taking a breather for the time being after that crazy push a few months back.

Yes that's true and if that happens I will sell everything I have (the non-important things) so that I could by a lot of Ethereum hold it until reach price around $5000 or $10000. Because every coins that correction so dipped expect that it will rise more so high probably will set new ATH.

This is just speculations which shouldn't be taken into account. No one can predict ETH (or any other coin) price with full confidence, especially when it comes to a 50% value loss.

At the moment I would not be surprised if that happened. If the price of Bitcoin goes down, it's quite possible that eth will cost $ 400. There is nothing impossible in the world of crypto.

I wish that i could give your some advice but i indeed am in the same situation and losing 60% of my portfolio now.

I think altcoin bear market will continue in the upcoming 2-3 months and ethereum will decrease more and more. Moreover I do not think bitcoin will recover soon enough so 400 usd is possible price for ethereum soon. It is more likely than being 2000 usd

The media is saying to buy ethereum to make the same profits like Bitcoin. Yeah, if you are talking in years they are maybe right. But not now. When you don't know what HOLD is and you are new in cryptoland you are sensitive for panic selling. Which means, newcomers are gonna lose a lot of money if they do not pay attention.

 The market is now so unpredictable and unstable that with the emergence of such groundless news, most investors begin to sell their assets, these actions cause even more price drop in the market. Of course, it is easy to analyze the past and say that it would be better to sell or buy yesterday, thereby having a profit more today.  Sometimes there are posts where some are writing : - what they said about this event some time ago and it happened, making reference to the post.  No one can say with 100% certainty how much Ethereum will cost$ 400 or$1000. Not always the news coincides with the actual events that occur on the cryptocurrency market.
