OP, you should contact user MagicalTux as he has lots of BTC and a love for Katana.  Below is a photo of him guarding his previous company's cold storage facility.  He needs a better sword as someone did manage to steal many of the btc from cold storage.

Yes we do use folded steel on some of the blades, and you can choose any steel from our selection with the folded Damascus pattern.

Either one will do, as they are quite similar, the only difference is the color and the shape, so I suggest to match it with the overall look of the Tanto.

Basically both are very capable of cutting both Tatami omote and Bamboo Poles,

However the T10 feature authentic hamon line, and it is going through the clay tempering process, while the Spring steel is very flexible, however the T10 cutting power is better and will retain it's edge better.
