Pulled out a Stars and Stripes from a bin at the local community trash collection point last week.

The strange thing is that the colours are reversed: The union is red and the stripes are blue??
It's not some magician requisite, it's good woven stitched nylon quality with real staff fasteners, 4x6'.

Is it a political protest flag, "tea party" or leftist?

Is it for ex-patriots so they can something that reminds them of home on the front lawn without braking any local laws about using other nations flags?

Goggle is no help to me..

Maybe it's just a novelty item or toy.

Thanks, but I don't think it's for magic tricks, It's a real flag with the usual plastic hooks on either end for hooking to the flag line. The one in your link is made of silk = easy to fold without wrinkles = good for magic tricks.

Could be from a high profiled magician Grin. Maybe you are right, it could be a child in India or China that fucked up at the sewing machine!
