Why mining 42 coin?  Huh Huh
Difficulty 156,08
Profit 61.43
And now we sit mining FTC when stats show every other enabled coin is higher profitability (except 42coin). What's going on?

Quote
And add Doge, Bil plz
See this post:
Why don't you have doge/bitbar/megacoin/ron paul coin? They are often in the top 3 on coinwarz. Feathercoin is usually about the same profitability as litecoin so I don't see why that would be listed.
Doge have random blocks, it's not good for switching. Bitbar - really slowly coin. Megacoin enable. Ron Paul not to Cryptsy. Memecoin - little difficulty

Stats seem to have reset and we are back to mining something profitable. More or less a day down the tubes from a profit perspective as far as I can tell  Undecided

Can Bortmehanic comment what happened?

Payout on 42coin takes ages (explaination somewher on this thread).

Not defend the pool, but it's new, and it can be worth medium/long term to make some test.

Anyone else have issues with their hash-rate not reporting correctly on the site?

I'm trying to test this pool with a lower-power machine I've got *coughalienwarelaptopcough* and I've got it hashing currently (due to needing a cleaning) at ~250 Khashes.

On the site, it fluctuates all over the place (ie from 80 to 220 usually), and often drops to 0 for a while here and there -- meanwhile I'm still connected to the pool and hashing away at those blazing speeds.

Is this an issue with the pool, or am I missing something?  I'd like to see some stability before moving any real hashing power over.

Got the same issue... this happens for quite a while now.
Although the pool ops say this doesn't affect payout, I'm not so sure about that. Payout has been quite poor the last days, even for my little hashpower.
I will look out for alternatives...

If you look on the site somewhere you'll see something like this "Refresh interval: 60 seconds. Hashrate based on shares submitted in the past 1 minutes." The reason it bounces all over is because they're taking an average of how many accepts you've gotten in "X" amount of time. So over 1 minute increments for example, one minute you have 15 valid, and the next minute you only have 9 valid. Your hash rate will change accordingly on the site, although on your end the real speed hasn't moved at all. It's a common question I've seen people ask on here so hope it helps. Have a great day.

Any donations greatly appeciated!

I am bouncing around on altcoins and trading for litecoins and I'm constantly switching around.

I'm ready to just go back to mining litecoins so I can just let em run but can barely get 4.5-5 coins a day now.

Can anyone tell me how this site compares to just mining litecoins directly?

Has anyone kept up with average litecoins a day compared to mining a litecoin pool?

Thanks.

Hello everyone
sorry for my broken English
Be careful with this pool. do not use this pool!
I work with this pool of more than 30 days
Now I can not get my money (42coin) from them for the third day!
Lies about profit - 131% instead of 90% in reality!
Do not use the pool! Profit 120-160% that's not true!
In reality, the negative profit - about 90% !

Mining 42 was an experiment. Failed experiment, because price fell down. I suggest to wait for exchange. It's unreal lowest price.

It's normal. Switching does not give accurate information about the hashrate. Trust your cgminer.

And added Dogecoin. Random blocks is not good for switching, but price DOGE growing up and other coins have bad profit.
