I think the goal should be to have more time and purpose to be achieved. Your goal in a day is just to study the volatility of the market and it will certainly be difficult to accurately be influenced by many different things. Let's have a long-term view on the cryptocurrency market, I think that is the thing to do.

For me,  the goal is to let bitcoin increase its value to a much higher price today,  lets say 13k USD.  With this goal,  if this will happen and I hope it will,  other altcoins will be abe to pull its price to go up. Investors will then be benifited with the increase in the altcoins as this will also increase their profit.

As for my own goals today, although the day is almost gone, i would like to have the altcoins i am holding to pump more. I know that some would also want some escalation in prices, while the whales that wished to pack more, would want some dumps. Either of the two can be good for any. Moreso, i would like that the major coins rise more, which might aid other altcoins, to also rise.

You may end up waiting for to long as this might not happen who knows. I don't really like to wait for the dip if it happens it happens if not I will still buy a portion because who can guarantee that there will be a dip. If bubble bursts ofc we could see price even lower but you know its all speculation.
