Found an article about it,

Just found an article about this new buzz about Cryptologism

Undoubtedly, cryptocurrency took the world by storm. Majority of people didn't believe it was possible for digital currencies to exist, till Satoshi Nakamoto proved in 2008 that digital currencies can be a reality. S/he/they employed blockchain technology for the creation of the world's first cryptocurrency, Bitcoin, which was created in 2009.
Since Bitcoin's creation in 2009, the cryptocurrency industry has grown in leaps and bounds, and mainly because of its decentralized nature, it is now a preferred method for funds transfer and a global mode payment for near-instant transactions with minimal charges.
Transacting cryptocurrency is mostly a quick and hassle-free process, and with the nature of blockchain technology which all cryptocurrencies are built on, users can protect their privacy and remain anonymous while sending and receiving funds.
Bitcoin is the gold standard for all other cryptocurrencies. The revolution of digital currencies began with Bitcoin, and at the same time the value has increased astronomically. This has left a lot of people "regretting" not backing the idea at its infancy, when it was being sold at cheap prices.
Now, cryptocurrency has expanded. With the advent of other types of cryptocurrencies which are collectively known as altcoins (meaning alternatives to Bitcoin) and the advancement of Blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies are now used in sectors once thought impossible.
Blockchain technology and cryptocurrency are now used in medical fields, the banking sector, gaming, supply chain management, and even for energy generation. Yes, that's how important cryptocurrency and Blockchain technology have become in just a decade.
The cryptocurrency industry has also been a great investment platform for lots of people, with millions of people around the world making massive profit from the increase in value of cryptocurrencies. However, one thing cryptocurrencies and the crypto market is renowned for is its volatility; the price of Bitcoin and others rise and fall at any given time, making it an investor's paradise and also a nightmare to others.
That's why a new trend in the crypto world is gaining massive momentum, Stablecoins, a coin which wishes to change the fluctuating nature and narrative behind cryptocurrencies, by synergising the value of the coin with another asset, mostly fiat currency.
The token at the forefront of this trend is Tether, clipping the value of the tether to the US dollar. Although this trend have come under heavy criticism of late, critics been wary of the transparency and legitimacy of stablecoins. But with the rise and popularity of stablecoins, and barring any unforseen market sabotage, this looks like something that would be a major force in the cryptocurrency sector in years to come.
Cryptocurrency: A Class of Its Own
Cryptocurrency and blockchain technology is now a vast field, with lot of algorithms, theories, technology developed in this field. Up until 10 years ago, there was nothing like Blockchain developers, but in today's world, Blockchain development has become vastly popular, with lots of major corporations looking to hire Blockchain developers to build their own enterprise applications on Blockchain technology. As a matter of fact, cryptocurrency on its own is a vast field of study, with Princeton University even offering a course on "Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency Technologies".
A lot of people are already getting involved in the study of cryptocurrency, and this concept is termed "Cryptologism". Cryptologism is basically the study of cryptocurrency and cryptocurrency phenomena. Cryptologism is a field that is constantly growing, and it's not showing any signs of slowing any time soon.
This ever-growing global cryptocurrency community, consists of cryptocurrency traders and investors, who're really passionate about the concept of cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology, constantly spreading the word to the uninformed, enlightening new investors on steps to take and advocating its use and adoption across various industries. They are collectively known as Cryptologistas.
This isn't in any way surprising, considering the fact that there are thousands of cryptocurrencies spread across various sectors of the economy. A lot of cryptologistas believe cryptocurrency and blockchain are the future of technology. Although, it might be too early to draw conclusions, both technological innovations have certainly shown enough promise to live up to the hype.

nomen omen, it is a "coined" term, I like this coincidence of names, too.
The term "cryptocurrency" recently has made it into the Merriam Webster dictionary. So why bar the same chance for "cryptologism"? Well, obviously, they need to do reasearch in cryptocurrency and they need to make relevant courses on universities, so they need a term for the "cryptocurrency science and research".

It seems that Cryptologism would be a good term, as Cryptorchidsm.. Im fascinated about the birth of new words, and I think Cryptologism has a fair chance to establish.
