Hi All,

His name is  John Watson and email address is bitcoinking451@gmail.com

tx ref https://blockchain.info/address/1BhqyEDPbYwbD2Tb1pjwXYmaCGnAT7CiLs

Once after making the payment I received the email as shown below

Thanks for your business, parcel will be dispatched tomorrow.

Received BTC, Address is good - tx ref https://blockchain.info/address/1BhqyEDPbYwbD2Tb1pjwXYmaCGnAT7CiLs

But its nearly 3 weeks and I haven't received any response from him.

Does anyone know about him or had any business dealing with him before. If so recently got any upadtes from him.  Sad

Never heard of him/her/it.  There's plenty of genuine ASICMiner resellers in EU - OutCast3k is the UK man to talk to, and fantastic to deal with.  Why did you order off anyone else, especially after the vdragon fuckup?

So you paid over 2,000$ to someone whose identity you don't know, who only has a gmail address?

If you ever want to have a bridge, I have a very nice one to sell to you...

Actually I purchased Bitcoin ASIC USB Erupter Mining rig 2000 Mhash/s (Over 2 Ghash) from a seller in Ebay. On discussing with him I came to know that John Watson is a distributor in UK (Manchester) and got his email ID from the seller and contacted him.

I was getting reply till 18th September and once after sending him the BTC I got the above email which was the last email I received from him.

After that I tried dropping him many emails but no response from him. Also I contacted the ebay seller and it seems he too tried contacting John but no response from him.

I am totally confused in how to proceed with it. (I nearly invested £750.00)

There is no ASICMiner UK distro.  yxt is the sole Europe distributor, and he's in Germany.

What you probably got from the eBay seller was a fake address set up by that ebay seller to scam you.  It worked, it seems.

yes but the one you need is the one at the other end of the chain - it may be the ebay seller setup a fake use for the of board deal - but it's nothign to do with ebay and they will not be able to help - you have been scammed -
it's the fraud squad you need

For the hard of thinking:

eBay seller sets up fake email address with fake name as "distributor"
eBay seller recommends "distributor"
Mug (you) sends money to fake distributor
Mug (you) gets no response from fake distributor
Mug (you) asks eBay seller about it, and they say they've no idea
eBay seller gets free BTC that can't be traced back to him.

Well, what I have learned, after the Vdragon fuckup, is to always have some sort of hook that can be verified so if someone fucks you over he is easy to trace, and if you have such information they are less likey to fuck you over.

Actually the below is the ebay seller from who I got the contact of John Watson.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/12x-Block-Erupter-USB-ASIC-Miner-4-0-GH-s-Bitcoin-USB-Mining-Array-/181218152447

Email and phone number is available in the contact information as the seller is a business seller.

Thanks for the laugh, "John Watson" is one of the most obvious pseudonyms ever (Google it if you don't know).

I feel bad for you, but I think you're just going to have to live with the fact that you got scammed and you don't have any way of getting your money back.

I would start by contacting ebay saying may have been tricked into doing a transaction outside ebay by the user.
This should get their account frozen so they cannot do it it to anyone else as its against the ebay rules.
Looks like he may not have the item for sale because the sale was ended as "item lost or broken" and never shipped out.
Contact the police and get a crime report number and give the police the evidence (print screen everything) about the alleged fraud.
Especially any mention of a £(sterling) value to the bitcoin transaction as this forms a legal contract enforceable by a UK court.
Police should be able to get Microsoft to supply the IP address of bitcoinking451@gmail.com
Then police could then see if it is the IP address is linked to the ebay seller.

The UK Internet Fraud center is... http://www.actionfraud.police.uk/

Good luck.
