It's not easy to do online transaction nowadays as scammers are are also using blockchain to fool their victims. Precautionary measures should always be observed or you may lose your items in exchange for nothing.

Yes, selling items in online is indeed risky and even more so when transacting using crypto that doesn't have many online stores or online marketplaces available, actually through any media now it can be utilized well but as you have said, many scammers in the online world are making it more risky to transact online, but at least if you can find an online store that has indeed become a recommendation and accept other bitcoin or crypto payments, then I think it could be the best choice.

Hey dudes hope you are well. I sell a lot of things on Craigslist. I am now planning on putting a couple things up and saying I accept btc or eth along with the greenback. Wondering if you guys have tried this. I
It’s very easy to sell items online for Bitcoin, it’s just like when you’re selling some stuffs for PayPal and you can also do that on Craigslist. All you have to do is describe your item and potential buyers will contact. It’s much better if it’s an item they can download or something that can easily be shipped cause you wouldn’t have to show your face.

That’s the only problem, there is no trust between people when we talk about selling items for Bitcoin online. Either one of you have got to take the risk: Bitcoin transactions are irreversible and buyers are afraid that they might send money to sellers and won’t receive what they asked for, and sellers are also afraid that they might send items and never get paid. Maybe it’s best to start with PayPal and when you get a good reputation online you can then decide to let them know that you’re also accepting Bitcoin.

Thats not a new concept since many are already doing that on facebook. But it is also good that there are people like you who patronize this kind of trade. If there are more people like you do who will accept bitcoin and ethereum then probably we can move closer to the real goal of bitcoin to be a medium of exchange in buying goods and services both online and offline.
Precisely, by doing this such thing could close the usage of bitcoin in our society whether it is online or offline. By practicing the usage of crypto in our daily transaction it could also help to persuade the people to use it in their life and this massive adoption could give a huge impact in the world of cyptocurrencies.

This is a welcomed development for the Cryptocurrency space.
The opportunity to buy goods and services for Cryptocurrency will not on the help propagate the potentials of Cryptocurrency but would also increase adoption rate as many that we're on the fence before now can jump in to be part of the revolution.
However, there must be measures in place such as escrow services to ensure transparency and build trust.

Sometimes is easy to sell or to buy items was in money or crypto.
In this I have to say that dont think that its good to have items or something else purchased with crypto, cuz many dont like it and most dont know what to do with it, and last many exchanges have KYC system and most users are from banned countries. Is it ok, maybe here with escrow.

Selling something online for bitcoin means really that you are selling to a very niche market, i.e those that want to buy using bitcoin, and that want the product that is for sale.

You posted this a long time ago, what was your result? Are you still selling [things]?

(Picking a niche is quite important, as many people have mentioned.)

The only place I know of where merchants can accept Bitcoin
for goods is ETSY. They allow merchants to accept these payments
by enabling a button, I think its "Pay by other means"

I have tried it in the past but didn't put too much effort into it,
There is a lot of marketing to be done which goes with any sale really.

Selling through online and having a bitcoin or crypto as a return is not bad, in fact, it is profitable however, maybe you were already aware that bitcoin isn't in good shape. Bitcoin is now having a low cost so when you sell your stuff for bitcoin maybe it isn't that good.

I just recently started drop-shipping, but im also accepting bitcoin and bitcoin cash for all orders. I am hoping thats enough to drive a few sales to gain some reputation. Also listed some stuff below $5 for the same reason.

you said it isnt bad but you also said that it wasnt good . confusing huh ?  what you really mean is there are times that is good and there are times that also bad because of volatlity . well thats right  .  but in the side of merchants they can always adjust thier pricing depending on the current price of the cryptos in order for them to not loose .

another problem is the waiting times  because btc and other major coins take alot of transacting time  , make sure that they add other payment option for now .

When crypto currency specially for bitcoin become known globally some big companies tried to accompany such changes and new system of payment.
Cause they'll even found out that it give more advancement for the coming days and they are exactly right.
Now it came into the point that we can buy stuff through online payments with the used of BTC and even offering services which could be paid by crypto coins.

Is it a smart thought yet it is unsafe on the grounds that not many individuals Would upset bitcoin except if is an assurance they get what they need and in the event that they don't they recover the cash on the off chance that they get defrauded So who truly knows.

It depends upon the situation and on the item. Some items being sold are brand new while others are used. Take into account the depreciation value of an item compared to the volatile price of bitcoins. One big difference is that, depreciation cannot be recovered as the item's value is lost through time. With bitcoin, the price may be volatile but it opens up an opportunity to be a profitable investment despite experiencing price fluctuations.

Interesting but wouldn't that take some time in the transaction? Nevertheless, more and more companies are starting to accept bitcoin as an alternative payment for services/products. I use this wallet that has a variety of payment options where you use bitcoin as the payment.

You've got right, it seems to be more riskier to send our money for unknown personal identity cause only we knew is just their nickname.
It could be just luck for us if he/she got into the deal and deliver the items or vice versa.
We only got assurance of returns if we know the person we deal with and have already a successful transactions before.
