Hey dudes hope you are well. I sell a lot of things on Craigslist. I am now planning on putting a couple things up and saying I accept btc or eth along with the greenback. Wondering if you guys have tried this. I
I have never tried selling anything for Bitcoin before and I don’t think I’m ever going to try that even if I’m a seller.

But, I have tried to buy stuffs before with Bitcoin before, but I didn’t again because I didn’t trust the seller and there is also no refund of money if what you buy isn’t good and all that, so I couldn’t take such a risk and I decided to cancel and look for somewhere else to buy with a trusted payment option.
Same here. I also have never sold anything online and I’m not selling anything for bitcoin. But, I can remember I once tried to buy something from a buyer when I was a newbie and I got scammed of my hard-earned money. I regret ever doing that and there was no way for me to recover that money, I just have up. Ever since then I have decided never to buy or sell anything for BTC. Buyers who make use of cryptocurrency are not protected.

Probably in a physical store where bitcoin will be accepted as one of payment option, I guess I may buy/sell goods for bitcoins using lighting network too. It may take time for us to use in day to day life still I will not be having any problems to wait for that to arrive to protect my hard earned bitcoins.

It is really good to see that an online seller will accept cryptocurrency as a payment on the product that the customer wants to buy. Accepting online payment or through cryptocurrency will really make your shop popular and will get many buyers. It is happy to see that some online shops now are accepting bitcoin as a payment. The adoption of cryptocurrency is becoming better than the past years.

I see the number of cryptomarketplaces is constantly growing, it cannot but please us Smiley
I personally prefer using ModulTrade platform. It has a good assortment, weekly auctions and some other cool features. There's not btc payment unfortunately, but I guess it'll be added later.

I monitoring that platform for some months, and I can see it's developing. The variety of goods is increasing as well as the number of payment options.

This is how people turn into positive and as crypto shows better now than of the past years.
As we entered this year, many good new coming out just like launches of crypto ATM and the positive response from the community itself. It is somewhat a good indications that there is a huge increase of crypto users as well as companies open for crypto adoption.

If you feel your funds are safe and the escrow service is trusted or guaranteed. I think you should give it a trial. Most of the online merchandise store are not popular to those outside the crypto sector but I believe the platform reputation and development should be your main focus before putting your products up for sale.

This is to test our trust to someone whoa aren't known to us. It maybe we could run for a trials to find out that he/she can be trusted at all. But for the safe and having a smooth deals, it is better to look for reliable escrow to hold the funds until transactions done.
Some in here are having with good deals maybe we could make through in the coming days.

Okay, cryptocurrency is quite a good method for transaction, but I don't agree with the part you said that it will increase your sales, lol, that's really funny. If you're selling online and accepting Bitcoin, you will find out that less than 1% are what will make use of cryptocurrency to purchase (or it might even be that no one will use that), majority will prefer to use other payment options.

I have seen some sellers complain that buyer are fond of asking for a refund after they have purchased their product. But for a customer to ask for a refund, that means you must have sold to them what they don't like, cause I don't think anyone would ask for a refund if they were given the right as they needed. And moreover, as someone who has buying online for a long time, I would say that Bitcoin is not a good method if you're buying online. If you make use of Bitcoin there is no way for you to ask for a refund if they give you the wrong thing.

That was before but now people are now aware about cryptocurrencies  . almost 60+ % percent of the population right now are using crypto and they are looking for stores that accepts crypto payments . you can even increase your costumer with this because crypto adoption is still growing  , just make sure that make your store looke nice.  Put all items that are up to date and dont overprice your tags  . for sure you will be a well known crypto store in the future .

Yeah people are accepting bitcoin to and they are using it as currency to buy goods, it shows crypto currency better and bright future, in my city there are rare shops and market who accepts bitcoin as payment but with time I am sure it will be common all over the world, invest and spend your bitcoin with old shops as new one can be scammer and tracers as we know scammers has become so sharp now a day.

I have not tried anything like that and I suppose you could get a sale or two if you do it but you must remember that bitcoin is not as popular as it may seem, you are in a forum in which everyone is interested in bitcoin and in several other cryptocurrencies and this may give you the impression that the whole world is adopting cryptocurrencies when that is not the case, so as long as you keep accepting fiat for your products then you are going to be fine.

Just try to not make a big deal about it because as we know there are a lot of people that have a bad opinion about cryptocurrencies because of what they hear and read on the media.

People would love to see that we particularly used btc and Eth for buying stuffs and other commodities  and not just we considered this things as an investment at all.
It truly believe that crypto will functioning as its design to be as a currency. With this offer, I'm pretty it could attract buyers especially for crypto holder's and users.
This is the way supposedly to happen with bitcoin and not just to consider as an investment but a currency as will. From time to time, people would change their minds and lead a way to enjoy using crypto coins today rather than of staying with fiat all the time. We have this actually and there is no reason why we shouldn't use it.

Yes crypto currency is our future currency we will see good progress of price development if we will use it both as currency and investment, there are many open stores who accepts bitcoin as payment and they are providing fast transaction, in some countries even the street food sellers are accepting bitcoin payments so it shows us how safe crypto currency future is.

In many area and well known countries it is being use as payment, we are able to buy anything with bitcoin, fiat is an old fashioned currency now, we are in modern age where it is need of the time to have new changes so our life can move accordingly, we are able to take work from crypto like bitcoin that we have been taking form fiat in past days, now it is age of digital currency.

Refund is not a problem if you buy anything from a store with bitcoins. There is no difference in refund policy if you buy using a credit card or bitcoins, the rules are the same. The advantage of using bitcoin is that there is no extra cost and you do not have to share your credit card details with the seller.

Yes, everything will be the same when it comes to refunding policy but before paying through Bitcoin we have to check rules and regulation of the product. Till now we see only a few outlets are accepting the payments for the Bitcoin, in the coming days we might see many companies will start accepting the Bitcoin as one of the payment options.

If you are going to do that today I cannot say that there are so many people that will buy. Only few for sure because the value of bitcoin today is not that high and also that market situation. Selling items online will be very great but make sure to be more extra careful, Remember the value is not stable.

Well the bitcoin community has grown quite significanty over the years and a lot more people would be willing to make transactions using this now compared to back then. And it's just a matter of time before the communitt grows even bigger setting up mass adoption.

I never been tried this kind of good strategy in life. But buddy, I admired how you come up and take risks with this. I am glad that you are accepting crypto currencies for your items. This is one thing that could help our crypto world in spread.

That is very nice but you need to build up your reputation first because the buyers don't have much information about you and you know these days, anyone can pretend they are a legitimate sellers when you talk to them and how they look. Maybe try to put up a physical business before you go online.

It sounds kind of interesting and attractive if you sell items for bitcoin. Definitely many members will support you guy. If bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies are accepted commonly, it will pave a good way to promote the development of crypto industry, especially it will soon win the recognition from public. However, it's not easy to establish an online business through accepting cryptocurrencies at all. You have to prepare many things like securites, trust and that sort of things. Moreover, due to the fact that bitcoin is highly volatile, so you should have good strategy before starting online business.
