What was the issue?

There is a high chance that you're probably not going to see your coins back if it was something to do involving funds. This is because of the fact that they seem to be offering some service similar to cloud mining without any sort of proof that they actually own the mining equipment that they claim to own, as well as a quite simplistic and sometimes broken website.

According to this rating site: https://netbusinessrating.com/en/review-23188-bit-minercom, bit-miner is a ponzi scheme. And I wouldn't be surprised at all if it really was a ponzi or just a scam. There aren't any other ways to contact them other than the support email/tickets.

If you do get your money or promised payouts(unlikely), please do leave the site asap and keep the money instead of reinvesting.

Withdrawal of a payment in their system requires entering a 1-time password in a web form.  The password is sent via a script to the customer's email.  It's a good security measure that you have to present both your login credentials to their site, and be able to access your email to perform a withdrawal of funds.  The automated system for sending email worked during new account setup and during the first withdrawal period.  

It has not worked in the past 3 weeks.  Since it worked on my first withdrawal with no issues I am not worried a spam/junk mail filter is blocking those mails.  It could be a software issue with the site that will be repaired or as you said it could be the rating site you referenced (which I didn't discover in my initial research) that proposes otherwise is correct.  The rating site has 2 anonymous accusers, so who knows if their accusations are legit either.

This message is not to accuse anybody of anything except to report they are not responding promptly to support emails.  

We'll see if any of their other customers notice this thread and report having the same problem or that my experience is atypical.  There have been other threads here that reported they were legit.  There have also been threads going back to 2013 and nobody has cried foul so for the moment, though I am concerned, I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt.

It's at least for sure that they aren't a registered business offering their service. Major red flag is the fact that they hide themselves behind a whois privacy wall. It's funny how they claim themselves not to be a cloud mining service, while in reality they offer very similar features, but they just call their products shares instead of contracts. Earnings are called dividends, lol, what a joke. I'm sorry to say, but investing in anything from such a site is just asking for problems.

Sorry to have to tell you this, but you've likely fallen foul of a scam. These sites are nothing but hyip/ponzi schemes dressed up as crypto mining services. Other than they're accepting crypto deposits, they've got absolutely nothing to do with any economic activity, much less blockchain.

Advise you read up about hyips. Thousands exist and thousands more will crop up, most won't even have bad feedback as hyip participants know it's only a game that ends any time.

Here's another piece of advice... Forget cloud mining or passive income involving mining. Even the most reputable ones have dubious claims with so many user complaints littering the Internet.

Just buy Bitcoin. Least you'll actually own something real.

Anon owners is already a red flag even just seeing out and having a first glimpse on the site you would able to tell that it is really a ponzi scam site.Experienced people can easily detect and point out scam sites with just a single encounter and when payouts are too good to be true then its automatically a scam ponzi site.They will really be paying at first and as being said above better to leave you do do able to achieve your roi then you are lucky but if not then you will end up crying and regretting.

Once they were so shady about of their sites, i wouldn't bother to visit it and leave as soon as i can since they were all just the same from the rest of cloud mining sites. I feel sorry for OP about of his investment (if there is), all of this kind of sites are good at first but when you start to put something from you to them they tend to show their real colors.

If you don't mine yourself through some sort of miner hosting (such as at a colocation) or mine at home, you aren't mining. If you don't have actual control over your miners and you can't configure what worker account they mine to on a certain pool, etc, then chances are you're running into some sort of Ponzi scheme. There's no legit workaround to actual mining.

I am aware that sites such as Bitmain's Hashnest do exist and they're legitimate, but even Hashnest is often down and suffers from issues, but exceptions like it are far and few between.

bitminer.io was a cloudmining site?
I always thought it was something I recognized seen in the investor based section of this site.
Those sites are not be to touched with a ten foot pole unless  you want to have your bitcoin taken from you with issues in the future.
Resultants there all end up as a ponzi scheme.

We can't do anything to help you. You'll have to get support to notice you somehow and they don't seem to be on this forum. In fact, they do not have an announcement thread on bitcointalk either. Only way you can reach them is through contact@bit-miner.com.

If you do get your money withdrawn, take it and don't go back to that site. Because it is extremely shady.

Also any chance you paid with a credit card? If that's true then you could potentially try to get a payment reversed through your CC company.

Sounds like they have already exited and pull a scam act. Sorry, but I don't think that you can withdraw your funds or even your capital and they likely created another website to rinse and repeat.

Its really a hard and expensive lessons to learn and its like everyday we see this kind of complains from members (usually newbies) and its kinda sad that they have been scam. I just hope that you just lost a small capital here.

I agree, either their software is broken, they are repairing it, and being unresponsive to their contact email for unknown reasons... or everybody screaming scam or alternately vendor failing to deliver agreed services (there may be no malicious intent) is (unfortunately) correct.  

Thanks to all the veterans offering comments.  I'm not expecting rescue.  Apparently none of you are bit-miner.com customers so there's no other first-hand experience with this particular site in the thread yet.  That said I do appreciate your notes about warning signs, and scams you've previously seen come and go.  Some of them I noticed yet decided to proceed and some I didn't.  Like everything in crypto I knew it wasn't a zero-risk play when I started.  

* FYI: The payouts they are crediting my account with are in line with what their terms & conditions promise and the historical stats they have published.  There's no hyperbolic promising the moon of profits that would scream scam in advance.  All functions of their site except the withdrawal function are working as expected.
* I am also mining with ASIC and GPU machines -- just the risk of lost income due to hardware failure is greater with a small # of machines, which makes the concept of ownership interest in a large pool of machines as part of a diversified strategy interesting.  
* I looked at the bitminer.io site that people are mentioning here and has had a lot of discussion on bitcointalk ... but it appears to be a completely different and unrelated operation.

I'll update the thread if/when there is new info.

Confusion is always likely when referring to sites with generic bit/miner combinations in their names. Bitminer.io and other variations have been very basic scams, that's for sure.
From the smallest amount of checking, it does appear that bit-miner.com has been running for about four years with basically the same MO ("MaaS"), setup and website.
According to their blog they are currently selling 'shares' in hashrate from 100 X S9's purchased in November.
@ $25 per 100 Gh, with 15% total deductions, their ROI looks to be around 320 days at current difficulty. However, this means that their total charged costs equate to ~ $0.01 per kWh for S9's, (including electricity).

For them to be so low profile after such a long time in terms of feedback, either good or bad, is surprising, they have certainly flown under my radar.
They would certainly fail any basic due dilligence test made by a potential investor, no proof of mining, total anonymity etc. etc.
Any screen shots of their back end would be informative.

Your chances of getting back your funds are slim. However if you did do your research then you should have expected that in the first place. I do think that it's probably doing an exit scam right now, though I could be wrong.

So the problem actually seems to be from getting your confirmation email from them. Either way it's not a good sign because it shows that they're not maintaining their site actively, or they are doing this intentionally instead of completely closing down the site to attract new investors.

Hope you get your BTC back, though. That's the best thing that could happen obviously.

The last payment was not without problems, but it happened

My last payout was the 1st of February and after that I havn't recieved any verifications emails...

Have my email hosted as an g-suite account and can confirm from their logs that no email ever reaches google;s servers
(Was thinking of emails where being blocked since it always had worked before)

Thanks for writing on the forum.  I expected bit-miner.com had some long-term happy customers and am glad to hear that things worked normally in the past and that I am not the only customer having a problem with withdrawals.

My email is on a small ISP, and initially, I also thought maybe their mail was blocked as spam but my logs also show no mail to confirm the withdrawal ever arrives from their email robot. 

The last time the email robot worked correctly for me was Feb 01 2018. 

I also have no new information since I started reporting the problem on ~14 Feb 2018 and no email replies from support.
