The internet is slowly encroaching into every aspect of our day to day lives. AI and smart devices seems to be where the people in tech wants us to go. With the adoption of these things, haven't we made our lives more complicated and harder instead? This clip, a part of the intro of the movie, The God's Must Be Crazy 1 sums it all up wonderfully:

A very good movie and a very good topic.
I think that the tool itself does not harm. But the problem is the use the people give to the tool.
In the case of the internet, this is terrible how the people are just looking, staring, becoming addicts to social media, and how it is changing the way the people used to engage. To me, we are living in a really concerning moment, where the new kind of self-estime is determined by the number: number of views, or clicks, numbers of smilies or likes from absolute strangers.
This has made the people get really concern about how are they being seen by others, even if they have never met this "other" in the real life.
Whatever that is going, doesn`t seem healthy to me.
Regarding the video, I`ve been always loved the intro of that film. Precisely, humankind thinks that environment should adapt to them. Anthropocentrism it is called, and this point of view has damaged enough the planet so far.
