Today the right choice of an ICO is a vital thing if you really wont to earn money and don't waste your time and money on some scam. Personally I still believe in earnings from some real good projects

Investing in ICO is good choice but all of are not good. You already lose your money in ICO. If you again want to invest in ICO then never put your all money and also Before investing in ICO research about that project Team,Roadmap,whitetpaepr it's help you to know about that project etc.

I agree this is a process of learning when you just make your mistakes and lose your money, but at the same time, you're learning how to choose the correct ICO and how to understand them.

For me, investing in ICO is a very hard work. And if I invest i spend a lot of time to find out all information about it. But ICO's aren't for everyone.  They are usually high risk investments. So if you think that it's easy , you should think twice )

When it comes to icos is impossible to invest at the wrong time since you are basically investing at the beginning of the life of the coin, if you wait for the coin to hit the market you are not investing any longer in an ico but in a freely traded altcoin that is just relatively new, with icos you only have two options you invest in the right coin or the wrong coin.

I think you don't have to give up to try to search earning money from ico because I am sure that in out there, there are still a lot of good projects that you can try. besides that, with the searching of the informations about the project, I think you can find what the projects that will give you some benefits especially to make money with the projects. but if you think it's enough to get scam from the ico then you can leave and never touch with the ico and will stay away from participating in any ico.

I think the main mistake of almost all investors in ICOs is that they are waiting for a quick result. I think it's right that some of the projects put a ban on the release of tokens for up to one year after the ICO. It seems to me that we can not wait for a quick result, enough time must pass for the project team to work fruitfully and show an excellent result.

Imagine you participate in 10 ICOs. 6 of them disappeared. 2 gave you just return of your investment - they didn't rise. One got you profit. And last one - it will give you the best reward. Just keep going and everything will be cool

Most 2018 ICOs are we below their ICO price. Hopefully that changes during the next bull run.
