IM STILL NEW HERE IN BCT FORUM SO IF THIS POST VIOLATE ANY RULES PLEASE JUST DELETE AND DONT BAN ME PLEASE.

My suggestion

hire a person/s whose job is to keep track of posts coming in each day

why?:
to focus on the daily posting to keep it in good standing. for the quality of every post that will appear publicly. We all know that the members of this forum are really increasing. so that we reduce the number of poor quality postings. it can greatly help. we all benefit from it. (suggestion: create a recent post in each category. to make it easier.
example 1 recent post for local, 1 recent post economy. each category should have a recent post to make it easier to find out where are the low-quality posts. to focus more and make adjustments).
(suggestion: for local..  contact the moderator about it. the local moderator will search or recommend. who is capable of performing the job. it is easy because of their own language).

and many user here in forum prefer to be anonymous. there is no official rules about prohibiting for being anonymous. (as far as i know). in short its legal to be anonymous.  there has  disadvantage effect of this  here in forum.  we cannot really put a rules that can prove legitimized by a user's account. the identity of a user is unknown.  the result multi accounts.

this way the forum can reduce the number of spammers and multi accounts. because the people who have really been able to regulate the forum have been increased.

HOW to get the funds:
forum funds (limited)
campaign ads (monthly)
why?( there should be a monthly fund that every campaign advertisment is given in the forum. to increase and improve the good conduct and quality of the forum. because first of all this forum has great help in their business. in return they must provide funds for it. Furthermore, the advertisement campaign will benefit from the increased product quality. because it's more likely to verify the person's ability to enter and advertise them)
(suggestion) price of the contribution
it depend of what kind of campaign advertisement
example . GAMBLING( it would be nice if the price offered by this sector was higher. because the profit of this sector is greater compared to others).
EXCHANGE
ICO

THIS IS ONLY A SUGGESTION. Thank you.

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

This is the campaign managers job (or should be). The trouble is most are either not doing a good job or doing nothing at all (which many aren't). This is something that should change and those that are either doing nothing or are clearly incompetent at running a campaign should face punishment. If there was consequences for lazy campaign managers or those campaigns not doing anything at all we wouldn't have even had to implement the merit system. Still not much will change if we continue to allow campaigns to advertise here which pay newbies and juniors along with everyone else regardless of quality. This is something that shouldn't be tolerated. Look at well-run campaigns like Chipmixer and tell me how much spam you see coming from their campaign. There's probably zero and if anyone was abusing it they would be kicked off but shitposters wouldn't even be allowed on in the first place. If every campaign was run like Darkstar runs Chipmixer then there wouldn't be an issue with spam at all here.

IM STILL NEW HERE IN BCT FORUM SO IF THIS POST VIOLATE ANY RULES PLEASE JUST DELETE AND DONT BAN ME PLEASE.

This is the most commonly used line on every forum by spammers. A part of them already know that what they are posting is something suspicious and thus they add this line to remain safe. Better read all the rules so that you do not violate any rule.

hire a person/s whose job is to keep track of posts coming in each day

One person will not be able to handle all this. It will take more than 20 persons doing this full time. Are you ready to share the cost of hiring those persons as they will have to be paid monthly salary ? There are member's doing this voluntarily and you can also contribute for free using " Report to moderator" option.

I agree with you.  I have suggested this method in reply to a question about how to make the forum a better place as it used to be before now. To me, the merit system won't be able to handle the challenges the forum is facing presently. If the MODs  can be about the code in post censorship I feel that's the only way to eliminate spam as only meaningful posts will get published for public view. Maybe they can look I to this. And spam posts automatically deleted.

We have already several modertors here and we all can make this job and help the moderators. There are report buttons which are working for my experience very well. Additional we have got the Merits and we see many high quality posts already in the forum even written by newbies.

What would really make my day is the option to hide posts from Newbies and Jr. Members.  Grin

Why would you do that? In plenty of subforums newer members still have perfectly valid questions and responses. I only ignore two or three people on the forum and it's been like that for me since the day I joined. If an option for this was added newer members would find it even harder to earn merits to reach their next rank.

Spam is nearly nonexistent in some subforums and rampant in others. We simply need to add moderators to some subforums or swap out moderators for more active ones (much simpler than adding 20+ people in to look at everything posted, which would be almost  unfeasible considering how many posts are made every second here), and a solution to revive spam-ridden subforums like Bitcoin and Altcoin discussion. Pretty much no actual discussion goes on there, just broken Google Translated English and pasted responses.

That doesn't change the fact that they'll just continue spamming useless posts (the only change being you won't see them), and in those subforums half or more of the people posting there are either member rank or up. Some more active moderation like I mentioned in my previous post would greatly help out the situation, and perhaps a sticky with rules regarding restating the same thing a million times would help. It's interesting to watch a thread with its question answered within the first five posts blow up to hundreds of pages there.

You are right, of course, the spamming would just become invisible, but I think knowing that people are probably not seeing your spam, might have a demotivating effect.

Or maybe a "reversed Ignore" system might work, in which you have the option to hide complete rank groups, but to unhide some of the people who post interesting stuff.

Anyway, as you said, not all posts written by newer members are spam posts - I would be a hypocrite for telling the opposite, since I was a Newbie myself in recent history... But honestly, I am almost a 100% sure that I would activate a filter f.i. in Altcoin Speculation and ANN threads and such, if that would be made possible. The current state of certain posts in certain subforums is just horrible, be it for content, or linguistic quality...

I think such a system would also take off a lot of the work and pressure of the moderators. And since no-one would be really blocked or banned, there would be no whining about freedom of expression and other blah blah of the likes of the current Merit whining.

But hey, just my two cents, thinking out loud.

I think you are the most self-centered in this forum. How dare you to say that!? You started from lower rank too, don't forget that without the rank mentioned there is no above rank.

Aren't we thin-skinned. Reading your first BTCtalk thread - which doesn't even talk about BTC or crypto at all - I'm trying to imagine how empty my self-centered life would have been if I had filtered it out.

There should be a level limit on the posts made, even if it is made by a newbie to the legendary. for me report to moderator can be an option. We need not blame anyone, try to introspect ourselves whether we are doing our best? If we just always greedy others then we are nothing but rubbish, never judge. I think everyone in this forum has their own rights. When they contribute they will get the results and when they do not contribute they will get different results.

your right many members doing it voluntary. but it has a big difference   if you hire a people whose job is only for track low quality post 24/7.  even it has a report button not all the members read every message appear at every thread.  thats why i recommend the recent post.

The guy hasn't been active for 3 days.

Made 3 posts, one off-topic and one of which to say I'm self-centered.

An other message he posted about Merit (already), he wisely deleted.

There's an expression for this in Latin: QED.  Roll Eyes

IM STILL NEW HERE IN BCT FORUM SO IF THIS POST VIOLATE ANY RULES PLEASE JUST DELETE AND DONT BAN ME PLEASE.

By the way, OP, the quality of your posts is not very impressive either...

I also think, if you believe there is a possibility your post violates any rules, you should read the rules better before posting, instead of putting a disclaimer on top of your posts...

I think this forum is not suitable for you since people got ban because they have reason.
You're new in this forum ? Well, most people will doubt because AFAIK it's difficult to make difference between someone who really new and someone experience but create new account.
Also admin must be really tired to many people in many times that they breaking the rule so they just ban them firmly
