I was just wondering if there is a list of the highest difficulty shares found?

Or maybe just the highest difficulty block ever found?

Don't know if it exists, but I have some data from Triplemining (maximum shares hashed in a single block):

Quote
Block info   Block status   Amount                 Found                      Duration          Shares       Confirmed
#262017   GENERATED   25.11680680 BTC   October 6, 2013       510 hours  650 997 718      YES

That's not necessarily the block with the highest difficulty. Just an unlucky round for that pool.

In my LTC mining pool, we have found blocks in 4-5 hours and we have gone 50-60 hours without finding a new block, with a steady hash rate.  And that's all within the last week.
