Walk of Shame

Did anyone here have experience a walk of shame (Walking home since you have a loss all your gambling money in just one snap)? Well, It did happen to me once and I'll never do that again. It was the bad year for me (Peek of my addiction), I normally left my atm/credit card at home if I were to visit a casino and have enough money wih some changes for my stay, food, drink and my fare. The first time it happens to me is when I was so frustrated because I can't win up to point I already spent my allocated money for my fare. I was devastated that I need to go home at 3 a.m. with no money literally and I haven't got a phone in me (which make it worst). Started walking from the casino going home it was the longest walk I ever made I pity myself and upon arriving at home my wife and my kids are already awake, I just can't bare to look at them. I don't even know what to say at that point. I just walk in shame, in front of my kids.

How about you, have experienced it? We all have different interpretation on "Walk of shame".

I don't even imagine a situation like that when you are in the difficult situation that we don't have a money to eat and some more basic needs after gambling it will very shameful like the you are mentioned in the topic and it is very hard to get out from that situation not very easily.

I am sure that there will be one or more people who want to tell their family about what they've got on that day. I am sure that they will feel shame about that, but if they are very concern with their family, they need to tell and give an explanation so there will be no miscommunication between them.

I know what is shame feels like because I got that feeling too and not just in the gambling games. But in other things but I always say to my family what I've felt, and they said, it's okay with that, you don't have to make that thing again, and it's better to stay away or think before you want to do something.

I personally have passed from such situation for so many time. But its really difficult to explain everything to your family. I really feel shame and hesitation to tell about such situation to my family. I always try to manage everything in a good manner and never let my family to know about my blunders. Very honestly I do not want my family to become upset because of my foolish decision and activities.

I feel you bro because im also like you . i dont share my problems especially when it comes to gambling addiction because i think that is such a shameful act even if i say that i dont beg money from them because i have my own work . i know how to earn a money  . 

I can only share other problems that does not involved gambling or money talks  .

Maybe you were really drunk and had forgotten it as well. I think most of us here have experienced "That Kind" of Drunkenness. I have tried many things while drunk, like studying, playing games, gambling, and going to school drunk. It's just not good for you though, you might get in trouble for that.

Maybe there's certain adjustment that needs to take when you are playing gambling, make sure that your minds and your bankroll is relatively balance and you can control both, if you can't do that you are prone to walk with shame, many gamblers experienced things that they don't expect to happen while playing, keep your mindset to enjoy alone so it will free up and let you think normally.

when someone thought that they can make more money from the gambling with what they have but they ended up losingg what they have well result in shame.That is why the money which is affordable while gambling with it.

It would only be shameful if the money you gamble is not yours but still you bet that and loss. I would not look at it as shameful if we work hard for our money and we go to casinos for leisure and not be illegal means.

i think that this situation has happened to many, we have to find inside yourself the strength of wanting to stop and not play more than what we had established, when the other money is used for the various expenses, it is not easy but we have to try...

There is worst walks of shame, to lose only money is not as bad as some mistakes that can be made.   Just plain alcohol excess consumption can lead to far worse and also eventually impacts your health for sure.     Money can be re-earnt and the mistake reversed, so long as you only lost your own money then I would not feel too down about it.   Bad luck is just bad luck sometimes nothing you can do about it

The "walk of shame" part made me laugh. He obviously threw caution to the wind and allowed his emotions to get a better part of him. Maybe he was drunk as someone above mentioned.

When people can't accept the fact they they llst their money,they will get shame.But there is ni need to shame if we play with our niney and lost it since no ine is going to say anything and even if so don't care much about it since you lost your money.

No doubt it’s really a very bad feeling and situation when you lose everything you have.
In fact it make people more greedy and even loses their moral sense, then they find other illegal ways to collect money and put in gambling for recovering their previous lost, but the situation gradually become worst and in last he find it more difficult to return to his normal track.

I think we need to play gambling in a limit and never try to exceed that limit which can then create problems for us.

Make sense, if you want to avoid better not to try playing gambling, we can't tell how situations will be when we are around casino places, so if
we wanted not be shamed forgetting about dealing with this activity will help, there's a lots of things you can do in life make a good use of your

You don't know how to handle situation like that? then simply don't gamble so you won't come to that point when you are about to choose, whether you will gamble with the last money you have. You should orient yourself and learn from others experience so you will be aware that this is possible to happen for everyone. If you are not going to think of it, how can you prevent this if you don't have any idea of it until now. Educate yourself and learn to be aware with this kind of situation.

That is what certainly happens if you already ran out of control upon playing gambling that you are already risk taking all your money even the alloted ones for your fare going home as well as for food and drinks just because you are chasing into losses that you tend to chase instead of stopping to play and just have already get a ride into home. Well, it was really shameful especially for yourself that you are walking miles aways just to get home tired and hungry together with that devastation of your losses especially the last drop of money you have gave in because it makes you walk and experience such scenario. I haven't experience something like that ever in my gambling experience because I am the kind of person that whatever I do with my money, I wisely budget it for food all the day, fare going to somewhere until getting home before I decide to do to the rest of my remaining money. I tend to control myself to that whenever I play, my money on hand is the limit because I am just playing to have fun and enjoy and that enjoyment expires once I have already gotten into my budget for fare and food which I will not risk to gave in. That is what I do whenever I get into a casino establishment because good thing that I am now currently playing into an online casino which has variety of games that I can play conveniently plus their great welcome bonus I can enjoy just for doing my first deposit.

But there was one particular match where we play with a huge bet I put up all of my saving at that time and end up losing not to mention that the internet shop was so far from my house so it is definitely a walk of shame.

That's awesome. A lot of funny plays have occurred during that time for sure. I remember when we were playing in a computer shop, there were times that they have a Cheat Map. Like when they type something, I don't remember what it is but the word is not related to DotA, and they will receive gold. Then they could easily buy items. I was surprised because we were farming and I was successful in denying the farm of my opponent, and they have great items already. Such a shame when you lose but when you win, oh what a feeling.
