Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

Probably on crypto-related websites such as coinmarketcap and all these kinds of sites. Coindesk etcetera. I would however avoid advertising on any faucet sites etc, as their exchange/CTR are extremely low ( garbage traffic.)

If you're serious about advertising a product/service, i'd recommend something like https://cointraffic.io/, which advertises on coinmarketcap, cointelegraph etc.

Thanks! Could you please tell if you know any places you can write about your products/services in bitcoins and wallet holders can search for it?

Not sure, you mean like you publish an article about your product/service in a medium stylish way?

There's not that many crypto-related sites that i know of that do this thing.

Your best bet would probably be this forum, and to be more specific, for a service you can make a thread here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=52.0 and here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=84.0 ( If it's an ANN of a new company for example).

I don't know the best way, but there are plenty to choose from. Some examples would be:
  • A banner on bitcointalk
  • A sponsored article on one of the crypto news outlets (coindesk, ccn, cointelegraph)
  • A thread on bitcointalk
  • A thread on reddit
  • Hiring someone with a well known crypto youtube or social media account to mention your business
  • A signature campaign on bitcointalk

If you have a website, something as simple as including a Bitcoin promo image would help and if you want people to be able to find you on a "search," then you'll need to be aware of good seo practices. As others have said, it would be helpful to make an announcement on the service announcement sub-forum here on bitcointalk or on other sites where there are discussions taking place, such as reddit. The same goes for social media. The key is getting your service out there, but try not to look and sound "spammy"--you see a lot of that in the bitcointalk service sub-forum already, keep your message concise and consistent.

check the link out below from bitcoin.com, it has some good information on how to promote yourself to the cryptocurrency community:

Good Luck!
