I guess that people do crazy things for money. Nothing new here, but it's the first time I hear anything like this. Same level of craziness from other stories I've heard, but this one in particular was new to me.

Not a shocking thing on where people can do beyond on our imagination which we dont even think that can be done by a human but eventually by means on making or earning money people will really gamble even they do know the health risk.Impanting such thing on your body do really have side effects but why he decide to keep it for a decade since the deal was just 1 year.

What the heck did I just read? Is this guy serious? Well, I am not that surprised because I always expect the unexpected. Moreover, this shows how people have already lost their minds over money which is the roof of all evil, not to mention that he might be crazy or he does no care. He is free to do what he wants. But I am confused about how he got that courage to do that. If I were him, I surely would not do that even if society was okay with it.

You know there are people who do that without any incentive! They change clothes or even perform chirurgical operations to look like women. So maybe the guy was one of them, which is the more likely as you are saying that he removed the implant after twenty years, not after the bet period expired.

He isn't gay, so the issue about looking like a woman is out of the question. You can even check the link OP posted. It was clear that the guy was not gay and even after 20 years with the breast implants he did not look like a woman. In fact, the picture was not even censored because it did not look inappropriate. If he already looked like a woman, I am sure the picture would have been censored already.

Well for sure it looks kind of inappropriate or at least untasteful to me! And there must have been something odd to this guy's sexuality if he have never actually removed it in 20 years. The article doesn't really explain it.

$100,000 is way too high a price? In some 3rd world countries, people sell their kidneys to organ transplant markets as low as $15,000. Vice did a sad documentary on it for their HBO series. They travelled to villages where literally almost every villager had one kidney removed as there was no work and it was the only way they could make money.

I'm too prude and boring to do something crazy like get breast implants. LOL That guy is a freak. Reading the article did anyone get the impression it might be fake? I've seen all sorts of crazy things published over the years. A decent percentage of which turned out to be false.

There were also news stories about people getting corporate logo tattoos on their foreheads for $50,000. I guess those might have been corporate tax advertising write offs? Have to think at least a percentage of these stories are publicity stunts?

I am certain with you, it is right, especially in 3rd world countries people are selling their kidneys because of money, even they give blood for money. But i am surprised to see it that any guy will be freak and show his boobs. For me it is nonsense thing. I don't like it but it is his matter, his life his matter what ever anyone like to do it.
But about me, i don't like these type of things even someone give me more than $100,000, I never and ever do it, No doubt, i am gambler but not this type.

There is nothing if a man choose to have a boob job but not me.If this is offered to a person who's in dire need of money, I'm sure he will take it. On the positive side, I think adding extra fillings to your body is much better than selling your organ, removing one of your organs would be a lifetime problem, who knows, your one kidney might give up, atleast you still have one to function if you won't sell it.

Adding boobs for one year is far better than selling one of your kidneys.

He walked away with $100,000 in 1996, which was a lot of money back then and even today. Indeed there are some people who do crazy things in gambling. Of course I would never do such things. I gamble according to my ability alone and will never exceed the limit.

Yes I know I'll take the money. I'm saying now that I won't take that deal but if I'm on the situation things can change so quick.  So you'll get $200k and after the contract or terms on how long it should be attached to you then you should save some money for the removal of it after some years. Well if the challenge is about criminal acts, it's better for me to stay and work all day long rather than take that quick money. That money will be gone easily if it came from bad acts.

I just happened to stumble upon this and this is very weird. Boob job? Haha. If the situation was same as what happened in 1996. Sure, why not? To answer on question from the headline, I wouldn`t do that even for a million dollars, there isn`t so high bet that can force me to accept this bet. I'm very imaginative, so maybe if someone close to me is sick and only thing I can do is to accept that high bet so I can pay for healthcare or if that is my kid, I would do it, but only because that, if there isn`t other way for me to make some big money in short period.
My wife is watching TLC, who doesn`t have that channel this days. There people are doing all sort of things, usually disgusting ones. There is one show where to friends make some bets and they go to tattoo artist and one person choose tattoo for other one, what they do is unthinkable. People are doing many things, I don`t approve everything I see, but in the end each of us have one life and what will you do is your thing, as long as you don`t hurt others with your actions.

Haha, no, I wouldn't get breast implants, but I did one crazy bet in the past. It happened when I was in school. I ate 700 ml of honey in 10 minutes to win a bottle of Napoleon Courvoisier Cognac. Not the most expensive type, but still it was around $50 or something. It was crazy. I made an oath to myself so I will never do such things again in my life. It was really hard to accomplish, I thought I'd die at one point. Never do bets with risks to your health involved, guys. It's not worth it.

I won't do breast implant for the money but I like to do some crazy bets with my friend which can be risk to our life too like riding the bike at some fixed speed or jumping of from a building like that.

If you require money you can do many other jobs as their are tons of jobs available and I am sure people who are on this forum can get atleast one job out of those tons available worldwide. So why need to go in this unless its your hobby to do it.
