Where would you like to see Bitcoin accepted?

I would like to see  bitcoin accepted in every shops in every country in the world.And i would like to see also bitcoim being accepted by all online shops in the near future

Same here, I would love that if you can buy everything through bitcoins. If only I can go shopping by just carrying my phone with my blockchain account in it and I would just scan the barcode of the seller or the store and transaction done.

Ebay is too tightly attached to paypal for it to ever accept bitcoin as payment.

Some sort of alternate trading site would be good then.  I think it might outcompete e-bay if it cuts out the transaction fees that paypal charges.

paypal also makes certain sorts of trading difficult, trading in alcohol and tobacco, for instance, cannot be done with pay-pal as far as I am aware.

i would like to see bitcoins where accepted in supermarkets and other things like cheese store where you just can but things with gold and bitcoins.

i wonder why places like E-bay and Amazon has not yet added bitcoin payment to their payment processors systems, even after this many time (from the start of this topic 2010) until now, it shows that many people want this to happen,
they don't care about their customers?

I think E-bay, Amazon is looking for a way out of this problem. since they also do not want to take a hasty decision. I think E-bay and Amazon still consider Bitcoin, because in the Bitcoin system will not guarantee against the money they send can be restored again.

In addition to the anonymous VPN, web hosting and filesharing providers mentioned before, it would be cool if some IT freelancer sites, many of which offer an escrow service, accepted BTC. Any other cool ideas?

The only dream which remained in the minds of people is that governments accept bitcoin, so that it is allowed every where in their country and bitcoin will get a great success in the field of finance of that particular country.

I would like to see Bitcoin accepted in many countries because in some countries you cannot make use of them which is a real let down. I think that it would attract more people if you are able to use Bitcoin in more countries.

Well, Bitcoin is not a physical currency and not designed for using it physically. bitcoin is just a web based digital crypto currency and mean point of bitcoin to use it for buy/sell onliine. and we can almost buy everything with bitcoin on the web.
as I said bitcoin is not made for actual use but in some countries it is still being used in shops, restaurants.

As far as we know, Bitcoin isn't yet formally recognized by governments and authorities as a "currency". But in practice, Bitcoin is likely no different than accepting payment in other forms, such as cash, or gold, or scrip, or gift cards or foreign currency. it seems good if its accepted in all means.

I am not saying that is is not possible. in future you may see that bitcoin will being used every where. but unfortunately we have to accept that truth that bitcoin is not suitable right now to use it physically. only some shops in USA and Brazil accepting bitcoin because these shop owners are old bitcoiner, but every shop owner don't even know what bitcoin is.
and one more way to use bitcoin right now is these credit/debit cards working around the web. we can spend bitcoin with that way but it is also not very famous..
So we need to wait and see for future and new development for bitcoin.

i read somewhere that Amazon have said something along the lines of they do not believe many people will shop with bitcoin which is why they haven't began accepting it, which is annoying because i use Amazon alot and i would definitely prefer to use Bitcoin, furthermore, they should take a note out of Expedia's books as Expedia were too reluctant to accept bitcoin as a payment type for fears no one would use bitcoins, but i read they have said Bitcoin surpassed all their expectations.

Someone should start a petition for all the big internet giants such as Amazon & Ebay (&others) to begin accepting bitcoin.
Its a benefit to them as well as to us as the customers.

Right, because if government recognize bitcoin became a legal currency in their country will happen a transformation for bitcoin will give a lot of effect for bitcoin evolution. And government have an important role with this.

Yes that will make the life of all bitcoiners very easy ! In my opinion in the coming future all shops are surely going to accept bitcoins as one the payment option as its market will attract almost every industry peoples.

I would like to see bitcoin accepted at gas stations or public transport.
The only problem in both cases is the confirmation waiting time, there is already many ideas regarding off chain transactions so maybe in the future we will see btc being accepted in many different places.

I know im going to get crucified for this, but I would like bitcoin to be accepted in bank accounts that can be insured and easily moved into fiat so I can use bitcoin day to day within the system. Probably wont happen any time soon though. And no I wouldnt give them all of my btc but just some to hold.

I would like to see paytm accept bitcoin so that i can easily trade my bitcoin to INR and i can transfer those INR to my bank account instantly without having submit my KYC instead i've to provide a valid mobile number to create an account.
