Please answer! This press release is not clear.

Why is it they set the date for right before crowdfunding law comes into affect? Are they not wanting regulation? Probably easier to run the site without regulation.

Another US site with regulation should be able to take its place

I'm starting to think the best way to respond to this farce is to trust someone outside the US to deal with my shares as a proxy.

Sucks, but what else are you going to do? Take a 50%+ loss?

Enough is enough, it is time to get serious about supporting development of colored coins

By Nov.1 the US debt will have defaulted, so unless Ukyo didn't exchange the loan into USD, it will be worthless anyway.

I think it is a general stoppage until everyone gets their identification straightened out.  I tried creating an account from my friends computer in France and no luck either.

I'm willing to help with this. How will be the right way to help managing others portfolio?

Sure, P2P is the way. And remember BitCoins are for the netEconomy just as BBS was for the Internet.

We're still at the very begining. This is just showing us we have to move into another direction.

You hate it. Mircea probably hates it.

The fact is though, the only Bitcoin Securities exchange that is going to let Americans on in the future is operated by a dude who isn't particularly fond with 'Murica. If you hadn't noticed that Satoshi character tried to bake subversive deep enough into Bitcoin that he had to leave. The only securities guy confident enough to make not leaving a part of his business model is MP. If you want to trade bitcoin securities you might be stuck with him.

I know you guys like mpex but it is pretty much over for them. Most people would rather have nothing than mpex. No asset could move there.

Still with this? I guess if you've been wrong for years what's adding another one.

The update answered it, and it is not pretty. all users who dont confirm as non US, will have their shares forcefully returned to the issuer.

So issuers need to act pretty quickly.
