Just want to remind everyone and the beginner and experienced traders / users about the danger of phishing sites. Before entering your passwords and personal keys, look carefully what is written in the address bar. Learn by heart the sites of exchanges.
If there is one extra letter in the address bar or a dot or a double letter, this is a cloned site (scammers). It looks the same, everything is like on original site, only in the address bar an extra letter, a digit.
Today I switched over the link to watch the course and got on a cloned site. Be careful always.
Which is why it is recommended that we should bookmark sites that we frequently use especially in our tradings. Never click on links in our Email that will take us to the sites of our accounts because this will give access to hackers. A common mistake by many now a days.

Metamask could do the job, browsers should be protected to because most of the hackers are taking advantages to the holes from these browsers, normally these phishing sites are identical to the orignal ones only the urls will be different so you better install the metamask extension because it will protect your private keys from these phishing sites, also you will get notified when you are entering potential phishing sites.

In order not to fall for FISHINGS sites, I advise you to add all your main sites, wallets and exchanges in the bookmarks bar of your browser...
I once almost fell for a phishing site www.myetherwaliet.com
agreed, i think this is the most safest way of accessing sites especially wallet sites and exchange sites. And also check if there is a secured mark besides the URL.

Already do that and my account still safe. Double check the address, never open account in public network and keep our device far a way from other person. Protect our account in many ways use only from transactions activity not for show off. Thank you.

Thanks for remind us. We need to remind each other not to get scam from unresponsible people who want easy money from our hard earn money.
In addition, bookmark the site you normally visit and go through that link everytime you want visit the same site.

Thanks for this information metamask help alot to avoid sites like this. Most of the things they do is to change L to capital letter I, which most of the time is difficult to detect. The best thing to do is to bookmark most of the frequently visted site to avoid this phishing websites

I agree that the metamask is truly wonderful in the terms of the security. Even if the people bookmark sites or are being careful there can be just one mistake to get on the phishing and scammy site.  The moment the searcher gets there he is vulnerable to hacks or he is already losing his portfolio without his knowing. Safety is on my first place and I hope that I will stay secured in the future. Thank you for the information! Many of the newbies can be reckless and lose their information because of the nonthinking.

based on my opinion The phishing emails usually appears from a known organization and ask for your personal information — such as credit card number, social security number, account number or password. Often times the attempts of phishing seems to be originated from the sites, services and the companies with which you do not even have accounts.

To protect yourself from phishing, it is enough to follow the basic safety rules on the Internet. 1. Save sites to bookmarks. 2. Invent complex passwords and do not use the same password on different sites. 3. Always enable two-factor authentication if possible. 4. Enter authentication data using the on-screen keyboard. These steps will be enough to protect your account from intruders.
