To help us at least beautify our posting, here is simple way to edit your post with before posting it. SCEditor WYSIWYG Editor - is an online tools you can use to edit/write your post much like regular editor with lots of editing tools to select, the difference between this editor and our SMF preview editing tools is, this editor shows the effect as you apply it, if you change the font color you will see it on the editor not after you clicked on preview. I am not much fan of those editing tools. A lot of members try to experiment with different font sizes or font colors to be unique but it looks irritating to me. Instead of spending time on those useless activities, you should focus on the content of the post.
If you are making a helpful reply to a query, the person asking the question will certainly appreciate. Using any other kind of shortcut is not going to give any benefit. However, if there are two replies with similar content , then presentation may give you an upper hand but it really depends on the reader.

I don't think this will add or increase your chance of getting merit. This is just cosmetics. As long as you explained and presented your thread or your comment that someone will appreciate it, then you will get the merit that you deserve. I don't know if we have the data to back up your claim. Take for example nullius, he didn't used any WYSIWYG or any editor, but why is he getting a lot of sMerits? Simply because he has contributed so much in the community (which some touch of sarcasm, hehehe), and he is very knowledgeable about almost everything related to crypto. |

Thank you for your opinion....very thoughtful thank you, sorry if you don't like it, we have another 1.4 million members here probably 1-2 of them like this so Everyone is casting their opinion here most of them about banning this and that, checking this and that, restrict this and that, there is so much negativity in that, If I can help user write better post I will but that is not easy, what I can help is giving them better tools. Looking at how "knowledgeable" you are about Merit and sMerit I don't think you understand what is being discussed here, and I don't see reason why you are so busy here at Meta with that level of knowledge, you may just shared misguided info if you continue this way. I suggest you reread the whole things about Merit and sMerit and not to worry about where your sMerit should be given. |

This is content nonetheless, you may not like it but there is 1.4 million other users that may find it useful. If you use much easier tools to achieve a similar goal, you end up with better result, instead of using very difficult to use editing tools you use simpler editing tools, you free yourself from having to worry about formatting and how your text appear and focus on whatever subject you want to present, I created the table in shorter time than if I use SMF preview editing tools |

If you need to present your data in a form of table, you will find it difficult if you use SMF Preview editor, with this tool you will be presented with a box for you to fill in your data, much easier, intuitive and faster, some other tools also much superior than the SMF Preview editor, that way you will be able to present your analysis, data in more organized way. |

The most important thing to gain merits is when you provide a complete details of information for all the questions that you could answer in every post. Making a constructive post doesn't mean you need to post a long or make it different with colorful letters like yours because its still useless and unmeritable.

This tools also help solve some technical problem not only beautify your posting. merit system is subjective, some people give it to their friend only no matter how bad the post is, some people refuse to give merit to even good post just because in their opinion the person is this and that. |

[b][color=blue]*[/color][/b] means that the campaign is paying in bitcoin with the addition of some alternative coins (altcoin). Taking a further look into the campaign's payrate is recommended.
[b][color=green]*[/color][/b] means that the campaign counts the post per period (e.g. weekly, monthly) but they will pay the total earnings at a specific date. You have to visit their thread to find out more about it.

The intention is scummy, but the idea isn't that bad. From time to time there's good content but it's plagued by shitty formatting and formation of walls and walls of text which make it unreadable (and thus it's harder to recognise as merit worthy). So yeah basic formatting is a welcome change but excess formatting as the OP suggests may not be in your best interests |

You got me, Jet Cash. I don't like threads which overuse images (overlarge ones), highlights, bold, and italicized. This guy offers new tool to help spammers cover the forum with hundreds of those well-(but actually bad) designed threads, which contains almost nothing inside. I don't think it is good for the forum if users mainly focus on appearance of their threads, instead of paying their time, their attention, their efforts to compose constructive, high-quality, in-context helpful threads. |
