Nothing on the market ever happens all over again and 2K in 1 year is as close to impossible as I can imagine.
It could be something close to zero, but not 2K (in one year).
All speculators on this board keep forgetting about the price to produce a single bitcoin (without even counting equipment amortization).

In US it is about $3-4K on average. In 1 year, it would be $9-12K minimum.
You can't have $2K bitcoin when the price to produce one is $9-12K.
It makes no sense economically.

First of all, every person here is a believer of bitcoins and secondly it's never gonna go in downwards trend in long term as it's anti inflatory and it's rarity will increase with time and it's completely opposite of fiat.
Now about ICO coins, you must know that ethereum was also an ICO coin and it does provide pretty high value and is also very useful and that's the reason why Microsoft and IBM are mad behind it. Also many different kinds of contracts can be made on it which are pretty easy to make and are pretty useful also the new ICO are also being held on the ethereum network as well.

It could happen. However you're expecting this dump to go down to around $5k when realistically I don't see it happening. This is not a sign of a bubble popping but rather just a bunch of people selling off their BTC due to various factors that have came up in the news recently.

As bearish as we have been over the past few days with prices essentially going down tens of percents per day, I don't see this continuing.

We're likely to find a bottom at a minimum of somewhere around $7.5k and that is very pessimistic. Binance has already cleared up some misconceptions. If it does go down to $5k then it may be a signal that this year we won't see any price growth again and the markets are fully bearish, though a recovery will still be expected in that very worst case scenario.

Anyways, anything under $9-10k is a good buy for now I think.

but the difference is that litecoin's supply is a lot more logical than ethereum's. it has less supply which is all distributed without any premine while ETH had a 72 million coins premined. additionally litecoin has a cap and with each halving there will be less and less new coins created. while ETH not only has no cap but also has a huge supply already!

As strange as it may seem, I have a feeling you're right here. I have always wondered about mining cost and if miners have some influence in setting the price. Their costs are always going to be in dollars, always rising, and they have to maintain operations... The alternative is closing shop, and in that process removing hashrate. If that dominos, then we'll see fewer nodes and less secure network, something that will also force new money to pour in.

That said, we could also be underestimating the profit they have already been making from bitcoin and alts, it's possible they could still maintain profitability even at 5k... If we find the break even point... That's the floor for Bitcoin.

You seems to be too much in a pessimist mood that makes you say that it will go back to 2014 . I do not believe anything can happen of that sort, infact market has started to recover and bounced back to above 10k now. Only it is just speculation of few people that a big crash will come and once it starts to rise this people would only regret later.

The community is growing drastically since last year. People are demanding cryptos for they have seen the potential and power of cryptocurrencies and what it actually means to invest in a great coin and its outcomes. Keeping all this in mind, your predictions which according to you are perfect is just pointless and has no strong point to back up your predictions for anyone to think that you're accurate. Rather than sating what will happen, bring a strong proof and news why will all this happen that you just predicted.

Threads get me between believers and not, believes when there's no FUD or new government ban, but the price keeps dropping. And I'm not belive, because bitcoin users around the world, they will continue to use it for profit. Nobody can really predict bitcoin price, this has already been proving over and over again. Price is going down today again, most probably due to the sale of coins from MtGox.
