Use some mining profitability calculator with predicted difficulty increases and see yourselves 

PS: I dont known of any profitable machine you can buy (or preorder )

you certainly CAN, difficulty WILL increase exponentially and continue to rise, therefore mining is close to not profitable at all UNLESS you have a very powerful miner (or several of them).

My opinion: Dont bother mining.

Yeah at the moment it is still good for the individual. That will likely change as more and more large enterprises are buying up hardware orders.
