With my basic understanding of linux, I would start a pool but i have a 99.99% sure feeling i do not have the hardware or software expertise for this. Although i could probably smash my way through it to get it to work i can't reliably say i could fix the pool if it did run into any issues.

Maybe getting a block explorer up and working would be a good start? Perhaps i can TRY and get that ....... still in the same boat as i am not all to sure on that. lol

I been around a while and let me tell you, sometimes a coin can go months without any exchange. How long do you think coins like BBQ and gamecoin went before? They were in the same boat as this coin... now look at them.

What you need is enough people to believe and start pushing the coin.
Ive also been told it can be quite beneficial for a coin to avoid exchanges in certain circumstances for its first months.

It's pretty much dead.

Zeus Coin got unlucky, Zeus coin actually had a good launch with very few problems if I recall, it had a decent hash rate at the start and there were numerous pools.

Unfortunately some coins don't get picked up by exchanges and the hash rate goes down and interest dies down right with it.

Of course it could always come back....doubt it.  Roll Eyes

I hold 100k of this worthless coin I mined when it first launched  Wink

It was/is certainly better than most coins out there... however without more support and an active dev i am not sure what chance it has.  I think if it did somehow make it to an exchange than its hash would stablize... then its a matter of a dev lol.

CoinedUP added the new coins after 25-30 comments(example Xivra, Ron Paul). Please vote, if You want to see Zeuscoin on CoinedUP!

I think a few pages back someone mentioned its mainly due to the low network hash/s.. which on one hand is true. But on the other hand if it was on a exchange then more people would have incentive to mine it...  Its been out for months and from what i have read have yet to have any major issues, as some of the big coins have in the past.

I have about 500k of these (took me a few weeks at my 400kh/s lol).  So i could get a decent amount of coins if it were to hit an exchange.

We also need more pools: zeu.botpool.net seems to be only one which is working. I guess this is also chicken and egg problem, since this coin is not at any exchange yet.

I've been mining on coin-base.info/zeuscoin for the last couple of weeks without any problems - it was apparently down for a while, but it came back up shortly before the end of January.

Would be nice to get that pool listed in the OP of this thread
edit: i see a coin-base.net is listed, perhaps that was a typo

Other than the name, nothing would differentiate this coin from any other coins one can easily setup through coingen.com  I'm afraid to say copy cat clones who did not get a decent market share by now will eventually and slowly die.  I mined 5k of this coin myself only to realize that I would only dump this once it gets offered on an exchange.  Which really is just making the death of this coin more agonizing.

I would recommend to stick to the top 25 coins traded on coinmarketcap.com

Happy mining/trading  Undecided

On the other hand this isnt a "new clone" it is ~3 months old, alot older than alot of the coins that become stars over night. so there is always the chance yet.
