Spend-a-bit is a payment system, where everyone can pay with Bitcoins for their favorite services.
We launched our service (beta) at the end of September 2013.
Ultimate goal is to offer as many services as possible to be payable by Bitcoin, for example internet providers, TV services, utility bills and much more.

Right now available:
Prepaid Mobile Top Up in 100+ countries worldwide!

More services coming soon

Hi everyone.
This weekend we spent researching new possibilities for our users.
I'd like to get some feedback from bitcoin-talkers community.

We can make available couple of new services:
  • VISA or MasterCard card recharge for cards issued in Russia
  • Bank account top up for some Russian banks, like Alfa bank, TRUST, Tinkoff, Russkiy Standart
  • VISA card recharge for CIS countries, such as Ukraine

We need to invest some money to make this possible, so my question:
Would anyone be interested?
Please, leave your vote https://tricider.com/en/brainstorming/17DuA to make it possible for us to calculate feasibiility.
Also tell all of your friends about this - more votes, faster it will be done.
If we find enough people interested we will launch it anyway, but if you don't want to spend months waiting - donations are always appreciated at our website.

Important notice: Service cannot be fully anonymous, it may require phone number for Russian cards/accounts and full name, address for CIS countries

Very nice stereotypes - Russians are criminals, ha-ha
Why do you flood here anyway?

Very funny, nobody else launders money outside of Russia.
Why do you flood here then?

Do you report to the IRS?

I'm happy to announce, that today we have updated our website!
Release was mostly dedicated to improving internal tools for price management, services configuration and availability monitoring.
New features are not visible to public, but add more visibility and simplicity into our calculations.

What it means for you? It means, that now I can see at least 10 destinations (countries), where we can offer mobile recharge with 0% fees!
Today I've started with United States. From now on all recharges to US mobile operators without any commission!

Stay tuned and wait for future announcements!
By the way, if you like the idea, donations are always welcome at our website.

Nice, this will really help bitcoin to spread out.

The signature campaign posters adding useless redundant fluff to their posts to reach their minimum word count are lowering my IQ.

Nice way to build Bitcoin economy.  I voted on your site.  I hope you become rich.  I was also hoping you did more services than just cell phone minutes.  Keep up the good work.

Thanks a lot, I'm going to for sure. It just all takes time and really hard to manage hundreds of services, regularly test each one and so on.
I can add Indian D2H TV services, Russian banks, internet, social networks, some online games, but I don't want to invest money and complicate things until I have enough demand.

This week update brings more security into admin part of the system and first prototype of external interface.
Now we're only 1 step (1 week) away from fully automated payments - in a week you'll start receiving your payments as soon as there are enough confirmations in the blockchain, even if I'm asleep Smiley and ability to work with external interfaces.

It's been a while without news, actually just couldn't find time to post:
We finally released fully automated payments!
Now you get balance to your mobile
- immediately if pay from coinbase account
- after 20-60 minutes if transfer bitcoins from any other bitcoin wallet (system awaiting for 3-6 confirmations of the payment)
- up to 24 hours in case of any problem with your recharge.

We fully eliminated the need for manual confirmation.

When we started the project we planned this milestone as the end of beta period, but now decided to keep beta status because we don't have QA in our team and bugs may sometimes appear Smiley

Black Friday Offer: 10% discount to all destinations!
How cool is that?!

For some countries, like US it means you can buy 100 USD recharge for 90 USD only!
For countries where we overpriced, it's 10% less overpriced for couple of days Smiley

There are no failed payments, you may probably mean that payment button isn't working?
I'm experiencing some troubles right now with Coinbase button, but already working on changing worflow a little bit to make it more stable.
