One of the major Scams have bee reported in South Africa with more than 27000 investors victimized. crypto valued at over $ 50m is reported to have been lost from a BTC global, a company which handled the mega investment. Its a sad day for the hardworking investors, this might have been out of their control but. But id like to put more emphasis on doing all we can to ensure that we keep safe our investments.

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

There's one overwhelming similarity in a lot of the 'scams' we see in crypto and it's that they all offer guaranteed pay outs and a lot of them piggy back of the success of other projects by using their name. Bitconnect, bitglobal, ethlend etc.
