In Slovenia are building the first blockchain statue on the world

Article is not in english, but here in Slovenia when they renovate old classical crossroads into roundabouts they usually place something in the middle. Some really unusual stuff like a boat or an old sleigh to pull logs from  the forest or a mammoth ( since was found there), ...

So now there will be in center of one a blockchain statue. This roundabout is in Kranj city where Bitstamp founders are from.   Oh and courthouse is just beside

I'm actually wondering how they're going to build the statue, a chain with blocks inside them perhaps? Please, update this thread with pictures when the statue is finally there.

This way is only good to look at only from the chopper or airplane.

Yes we need picture which shown in this thread. Statue in form of bitcoin symbol is the best. Bitcoin is more popular than Blockchain, the statue must be big and tall so everyone can see it. It is good to make people become more familiar with bitcoin and blockchain.

Slovenians make up less than 1 percent of the world's population. That said, it's hard for them to compete with Europe, much less America and Asia.

I can see why they'd raise this statue in honor of the bitstamp founders. It's a really great feat that these people from Slovenia could build one of the biggest crypto exchanges that people all over the world use.

I agree with you the angle is not noticeable only people upstairs or on an airplane can see that, they should reconstruct it to something that people will see that in every direction, we cannot call it a landmark at all if it can be seen coming from up above.

and not just blockchain, but all other altcoin symbols are maked statue. like litecoin symbol, ETH symbol and other, so make other people know.

Apparently it will get opened on Tuesday.  On left side from where picture was taken is a court.  Yes I guess it will not be much seen for those driving , but those walking by will see it.  Also from taller buildings and as mention from air.
