How much is your altcoin down since January?

Almost all my altcoins have decreased by 60-75%.
It is my first year in crypto, but I am confident that the market will recover soon.

Actually, not too badly. I took January as a big chance to not only recover and break even but book some minor profits. I didn't buy anything at the time, waiting for the dips that eventually happened in Feb - but then it didn't stop there haha. So actually yes, I'm also in some losses, but still added cheap coins to what I hold long term and even somehow turned profit with shitcoins like Verge, so all in all, I'm just about 20-30% in "losses". No big deal though, it's only a matter of time before these turn green.

There is one of them that still stands the bearish markets like nobody's business because they have the right connection and a promising product, which is a health app. I'm holding that one and hopefully I might buy more if the price decreases a little.

I am not losing anything since january down market. Because i bought my first crypto in 2014 untill now still buying for very long term investment. The profit reduce but not losing. I believe people who buy in crypto since 2014 also does not lose anything. They are on good wealthy now. And for people who just entered in 207 december you better hodl your investment untill 2021.

There is no need to pity coins that get deleted by holders from wallets because the best one among cryptos currencies also gets same treatment during dips from novices.

It is all in the hands of holders whether he will buy more coin in the red market or sell it out in order to prevent so called loss. All the potential coins are powerful enough that they can survive through bearish trends and basically, these are for giving away the chance to increase one's asset.

I did not compute the exact loss of the coins that I got from their all time high in the months of December and January until today. What I know is that I am around 70% down from that all time high period as compared today. I noticed that the majority of the poll voters have also lost 50% to 75% of their portfolio's value. This red streak in the charts have been going on for a long time. I hate it.

I know it is hard but there is not a point to sell your coins right now, unless you really need that money for something urgent then do not sell your coins, because as we know the price will recover at some point in the future, the only downside is that we do not really know when this is going to happen  which is one of the most powerful reasons why people sell since they cannot deal with the uncertainty.

Apparently I lose like 80 percent of my investment but now recovering like 30 percent so need to recover like 50 percent more so I already recovered my loss .

Those figures are pretty bad. I guess thats why STOP LOSSES are very important. Make sure you set them a comfortable level at which you are willing to lose.

On my end i've only invested mostly in "blue chip" cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum. I'm down from $1200 to $700 on ETH but the upside potential is really good. For Bitcoin i'm down from $13000 to $8500 but again, i am optimistic the price will recover easily.

Since you only invested in good coins you have nothing to fear the problem are all of those people that invested in coins that were just starting out, even a good project will have a lot of problems to survive under the current conditions, and this is true as well for new projects that are having problems getting enough funds to become something more than a good idea.
