I have seen an interesting statics about the demographic on bitcoin users. There is very one that is very intriguing, the pie graph that show the Person engaged in Bitcoin by gender. The graph shows only 5 % on the total are female. Does this show that MEN are moreof a risk taker than women? Or that MEN are more impulsive than WOMEN?

What do you think Guys?

In my opinion, I think that men are more risk-taker rather than women. I also think that there are only few women who are involved in bitcoin is because they know what they are doing and trust bitcoin. It seems that women are more careful when getting involved in this kind of business. It's more likely that they want proof first rather than prove it themselves and take the risk. Btw, it's only my opinion. Smiley

Yes, many Men's are risk taker than women. Always in case of no choice situation men's always take risk just to protect their selves or to protect their love ones, because most of the women's are weak and mostly scared in case of a big situations like investing and in many aspects in life.

This is not because men are risk taker but investing in bitcoin require an understanding on how it work and this will lead to research which women would not want to undergo because of it stressful nature. Men can do research easily to get more understanding of what they want but it is not always easy with women and that is why the % of women participating in cryptocurrency is very low.

its not about risk

women are more interested in what can be done with currency not how its been made
for instance in 2012-2016 there were tonnes of merchants selling gadgets and gizmo's but hardly any fashion stuff.
its not sexist that women spend more on fashion and design and guys spend more on gadgets and hardware. its life.
so women just dont find bitcoin as needed/ as interesting

also its the population, the majority of people into bitcoin are technical/geeks, which is still male dominant. its not sexist, its reality of real peoples lives that cant be argued by showing the 5% that are female as the counter that women are involved as there are still 95% that are male.

so although there are females that are involved. its simple lifestyle reasons that more males are involved than females.
its not about sexism or anti-feminism. its just a real world situation that bitcoin doesnt fit females needs

I DO NOT TRADE OR ACT AS ESCROW ON THIS FORUM EVER.
Please do your own research & respect what is written here as both opinion & information gleaned from experience. many people replying with insults but no on-topic content substance, automatically are 'facepalmed' and yawned at

Yes, this is a pretty interesting topic. Men tend to engage in more bitcoins than women because they are more likely to know more bitcoins. Men are the main workers in the family. They learn from many outside the society. Women at home are less likely to be exposed to the virtual money market.

I'm male, and men are more likely to play with risks than women who like safe mode. this is why the statistics you learn show the more dominant men involved in the crypto world. although did not rule out that women can be more work than men.

Its not a matter of risk, it is about the mentality of the person.
Mostly, men are more engaged in bitcoin because we know that a lot of men have the knowledge about technical analysis, computer as well as technology. When we talk about multiple intelligence, it is a fact that the logical and mathematical skills are working more in the boys. But we cannot conclude what is more interested between boys & girls when it comes in bitcoin because nowadays, woman are the one who searched for sideline business or work specially, if they are a housewife. Most of the time, women are engaging in online business and I think it is a reason why a lot of woman are engaged in bitcoin.

The normal ability of females that are so doubtful interms of trusting issues. Thats the cue I guess. Women is really a paths duck, they have their own point of views. They dont believe easily and they may think its boring because its all just sitting and doing internet bankings and trades. Some are just not open minded about bitcoins works.

I think men are always pioneers and usually do big things. In the past, women have been associated with housework, family care and support for husbands. So that's a prejudice and very few women like to think big. They are born and have been oriented, they do not want to break the prejudices of society. Men are more involved in business than women.

I think this is probably related to there being more men in the STEM fields than women, and so men are more likely to be exposed to crypto, as well as having the technical background and overall familiarity with the ecosystem in which crypto exists than someone that doesn't.
