At times like this, I just hodl my coins, buy more and invest if I have the money to spare. Then I close my wallets and continue with my normal daily routine because I know the bear market will surely end.
Have a beer and relax

It all depends when do you need the money. If it is in 2-3 years, or later. You should not sweat at all. At some point, BTC will go higher than 20k, and you can sell Smiley
You have hit very important thing that is always in the mind of investors before they are making any sort of investment in any market. Even if take the example of bitcoin, people are investing into it just because they need money sooner or later. As you said, those who are planning of making money gradually and in large amount, you don’t need to put yourself in any distress. Short term should also stay light because they have invested in right coin.

We always hope to see a lower price and buy again when the price falls, but this is risky. We can't predict the price drop completely, but I generally buy it when the price falls below the range I expected. .

How do you deal with 20% plus drops. Do you try to sell at the top and buy back in? are you a hold on for dear lifer?

It really pains me to see those dips on the price of bitcoin but I am one of those who stlll hope that the price will go up. It happens before where bitcoin price plumetted but recovered. I think it is better to hold and wait for the prices to go up.

I used to be afraid when Bitcoin dropped a little more than I expected and I even panic sold some of my Bitcoin. Now, I'm no longer afraid of dips, I simply hold as long as it is possible. I try to spend my BTC only at ATH and encourage my friends to buy BTC when Bitcoin decreased a lot. Of course, none of them wants to buy something that is losing its value. Quite funny because they later bought it when it was much more expensive. My advise is not to panic because Bitcoin will eventually recover. Now it is the perfect time to buy some. I have no idea when it will start to increase again.

The best way to stomach the dips is to look at the historical charts. Crashes are a very common occurrence in the cryptocurrency space. Once you look a the charts, you'll know that whatever you're seeing is not the first time this has happened. The market has been here before, and it'll be here again.

This is a good form of investment, but it will easily damage the interests of some investors, but also the suspicion of manipulating the market, which will cause panic among most people.

Personally, I already expect price drops to happen due to bitcoin's volatility but I cannot help but to feel nervous and anxious about my investments. What I do, I risk 50% of my bitcoins by not selling them while I sell the other half of my investments above the price I initially invested them on. If it came to a point that the initial price I invested my bitcoins are below, then I just let time do its magic by waiting.

We always hope to see a lower price and buy again when the price falls, but this is risky. We can't predict the price drop completely, but I generally buy it when the price falls below the range I expected. .

Considering that there has been a consistent decrease on its price over the past weeks, we might see its price being stable at around the $8000-$9000 mark depending on the circumstances happening. With this, we must accept that price are really decreasing on a steady pace. It depends now on our investment goals whether we should sell/acquire more depending on our financial status.

Anyone can invest in Bitcoin. Your friend. Your enemy. Your whatever. However, you must advice them to learn about the basics of Bitcoin and cryptocurrency first. Investing in Bitcoin without having a basic knowledge of Bitcoin or not knowing what you're doing is a recipe for failure. You don't just follow the band because everyone is in the band. Invest in bitcoin only after study and research.

Yes I know it hurts to see the price going down again and again but it is not going to stay the same for long time,. If you will keep patience and hold your bitcoin it will be good time and all the pain will turn to the relief. With time and fast investment price of bitcoin increases, so the best choice is to hold your bitcoin and let it grow as much as it has potential to increase, I am very sure bitcoin can increase price and give you a lot of happiness with high pump in price and profit.

I gave up on trying to time the highs and lows a long time ago. I will make multiple buys as the price is dropping to dollar cost average my buys. I usually don’t sell coins unless it’s to trade it for one that I think is better. I find that long term holding is a good strategy because there is a lot of room for cryptocurrencies to gain value over the next 10 years or more.

I drink a beer, watch tv. Live my life as I normally would. Close all of my wallets, keep my coins locked safe and just forget about the cryptocurrency market for a bit because you might go crazy if you keep looking at the chart every minute especially when the price is dropping fast so the value of your portfolio is decreasing rapidly. I tend to just stay away from it all.

Yes, the majority of traders do this, they buy during price falling and sell when prices rise and reach their peak. So someone bought it and made a lot of money on it.

To be honest, I have not yet learned how to deal with these adverse market conditions, because in many of the currencies where I have invested most of my capital, they have lost more than 90% of their value in relation to their ATH, so at the moment I have lost about $100,000 in a couple of months, and I have no other options than to continue holding my coins.

At this stage of the game, when I have already lost 95% of my money, I do not care about losing the remaining 5%, so I do not have too much to lose if the downward trend continues.

I'm with Bitcoin for a long time now and this is not first such experience for me. So actualy I'm calm and this price drop doesn't give me the headache.
To sell now it's not the good thing to do, especialy if you have bought Bitcoin at higher price. Be patient, don't give up, the price will recover.
I think that one of the problems is that everyone get spoiled with price we had at the end of next year and now are many disappointed especialy new and unexperienced users.

Well I am a pretty old member here on the forum and have spent so much time that I know that dips are the right time to buy bitcoins or any other crypto, so I always buy bitcoins whenever there is a huge market crash or anything like that, in case of a market pump I try to sell my coins at a fixed price that I keep in my mind as while watching the price rising the greed in a person also rises, so I do this just to be safe and not get influenced by my greed.

If there are sure chance that the price will drop,i will sell at the top first and buyback later of course. If there are no certainty i just hold and keep buying when the price got a big drop.I only sell when i need money regardless the price,so it easier for me and i'm not a hardcore trader who think to gain profit every chance they get.

And in the chat he invited anyone who bought him a pizza, 10000 Bitcon. One of the chat participants, responded to Laslo's request. This was the first perfect deal involving bitkoyn.

Well a dip is a dip and we cannot stop that. But we can do something to lessen our losses and to increase the possibility of getting profit. For me, a dip is one way of collecting more bitcoins and hold it until bitcoins value will come back again to 20k$ then I will sell some of it. A dip is an opportunity for me to buy more coins in a very cheap value.
