Author Topic: New S9s BMminer/Hardware Version missing AFTER pool change.  (Read 148 times)

Messed around with 2 new S9s last night and could not get them to start hashing so I went to bed.

Tried,
Reboot
Reset
New Firmware
Old Firmware
New eth cables

240v bitmain PSUs

Spent this morning switching out some power cables and such and still nothing. So I decided to plug my other 2 S9s in and they start hashing on factory antpool settings right away. I never looked at the first 2 status before changing to my my pool. As soon as I switch to my pool BMminer/Hardware Version disappears and no hashing/temps....If I change it back to factory antpool it does not start hashing again and BMminer/Hardware Version is stays blank...

Any ideas?

bmminer version and hardware version are always going to be blank if the bmminer cannot start properly. Its not a symptom of a problem its a byproduct. Please post the kernel log of one of your machines having issues after it has fully booted and we can start to troubleshoot it.

Stop buying industrial miners, running them at home, and then complaining about the noise.

thanks, I noticed they do hash on antpool after reset but craps out when I change it to slush.
