I'm thinking I may be the only one mining on this coin right now. I've been pulling solo blocks since it was announced, lol.

Usually people go towards nice images. My opinion about this project:
- this announcement looks pretty bad,
- coin logo is just a nightmare to be honest,
- it looks like they just want to get ETH and run away with it (send us ETH, we give you our worthless, coin),
- their pool, linked on their page, is not working right now,
- you pay 1 ETH for 10000 of their coin - it means you pay $0.065 for virtually nothing,
- "we collected 8 ETH so far but spend 6.6 ETH for marketing so far." - what is that 'marketing' they are talking about, because they didn't even 'invest' in this announcement,
- no pool seems to be interested in this project,
- they want to sell tokens in April, and start creating the 'real' (as they wrote) coin in the same month - I just simply don't like that,
- they want to get on exchanges in August, start the marketing campaign in September and get the price of this coin to $50 in December (wow?)
- company`s logo - holly molly,
- their company`s main page - HOLLY SH... MOLLY.

On a final note interesting thing from their coin explorer:

Wealth Distribution:
                  Amount (RECO)            %
Top 1-25   7354900.09800000   203.46

203%? Absolutely legit! Wink

Your points are legitimate if you've never heard of cadkas. If I didn't know of the company previously I'd be thinking exactly the same thing. They have been in the software development business for years, small team and yes the site is certainly outdated.  I've used their PDF Editor for years and and recently purchased their latest version - note I rarely buy software because I can code most things I need (plug PeerHash) - however this is so useful for annotation and merging splitting pages it was a no brainer for me.

I believe this is their first foray into blockchain technology and personally I think a reference line does have merit for the tracking of crypto payments if you so wish.  The wallet has a built in miner and I tried it on my Virtual Machine PeerHash test bed and mined 100 coins on a 3 CPU allocation in about 15 minutes. i wish cadkas success with this product however @cadkas listen to people's feedback here as there is an incredible community at BitcoinTalk that will support active Devs.

@cadkas the blockchain explorer has some issues and the mining pool is not allowing people to register

I made a Youtube video how you can solo mine with bfgminer now. I will work on the pool later. The biggest problem with the pool right now is, that the difficulty of the coin is so low that there are far to many requests to the pool server.

The problem is that the structure of the transaction has changed. So I need to fix this in the pool and also in the blockchain explorer.

Now that solo mining with mining hardware is working I will try to fix the blockchain explorer.

I've been solo mining you coin pretty often the past few days with my Moonlander 2 stick, I have around 130k coins now in my wallet. I'm rooting for your success. :-)

Good news!!!
Our coin will be listed on the exchange www.stocks.exchange within the next few days!
You will be able to trade it against ETH there.

@pugmagician : Also thank you very much for your support and that you mine our currency!

I will get an USB stick with 5 MH/s probably today and will also start mining with this stick.
This should double the hash rate of the net with one 120 Dollar USB stick.

I have deactivated the mining pool. The difficulty is far to low for the pool now. I will activate it again when difficulty has
gone up.

I have deactivated the rich list of the block explorer. I will try to fix the explorer or create a new explorer soon.
The problem here is that our addresses contain 2 public keys. One to send the coin and one to encrypt the reference lines.
The explorer expects that the addresses stay the same for the same public key hash with is used to send/receive the coin, but this
is not the case for our currency.

Very awesome news indeed!

Sounds like your getting the same stick I have, it pulls blocks very quick.

- Win32.CoinMiner is normal, it is often mistaken for a virus, I accept.
- But Win32.Trojan.WisdomEyes. so what?

Glad to see you're focused on exchange listings. Whilst building the blockchain is obviously important, trading will fund the application opportunities for this new coin.  Does the reference line allow any text and up to what length ?

Hello! need a link to the wallet windows
http://www.referencecoin.co/

it's hidden a little on the site, gotta read through everything to see it.

Looks like it won't let me direct link to it, but it's on their site, there's a link to the executable for it.

Guys, your announcement looks like you just want to get our money and go to the Caribean Islands.
Website design made on a knee. Litecoin Logo. Unknown advisory. Probably one of those scams =(

The pool finally works!!!

You can use our pool here:
http://www.referencelinecoin.com

CK you should consider reducing your pool fee for the community given it is your pool and you are also mining the coin ? The difficulty appears to be increasing quickly.

Yes you are right! I changed to pool fees to 0% now.
Yes, we are at 8 GH/s now!!!! I am very excited.
Difficulty will increase in 1000 blocks again from 74 to about 280.

But I think this is good for the value of the coin.

I will work on the design and the website and the white paper in the next days.

That's great ty.  You may want to consider a simple roadmap for the coin.  Some of the community may suggest some use cases for the coin.  The reference line could have many potential uses apart from seeing who sent reference coin to another person. cheers

Hello to the whole community! Do not send your coins to the Stocks.exchange, with enrollment there are problems.
