Wait what is this now wasnt this coin launched weeks ago or did i missed something why you start over?Also if this is the case then i would like to know a bit more and whats different this time and why relaunch
Summary of what happened / reason for new ANN:
- NORT started off on 14 Feb 2018 with a Genesis block
- Coin launches smoothly, community is happy, price starts to grow
- There were two people involved from the start, Scribbles, the Dev, and Rob.S, the owner
- Shortly after NORT hit cryptoBridge at $1, Rob.S, the owner, proceeded to dump his premined coins and exit
- Rob.s kicked all the moderators before deleting the Discord
A few days later
- Scribbles, the Dev, started a new Discord and added the original moderators back
- A new team was formed much larger than the first, all from community members with an interest in making NORT a success, as well as Scribbles agreeing to stay on and develop
- The team decided to still move forward with the project, and formed a new whitepaper and roadmap, which include a different direction for the coin, as well as some additions to the roadmap
The new ANN was made as we felt it was necessary - we have changed quite a few things, the team is different, and we no longer have Rob.S with us, as he has dumped his coins.
Scribbles has kindly donated a good portion of his coins from the premine, toward a developer and marketing fund. This will be used to fund the project - in order to help us get listed on new exchanges and masternode listing sites, as well as fund any developer work that we need done on certain projects.
After what has happened so early on in the coin's life, we have decided to move on and bring new life into the coin, and the team is expanding each day with skilled and motivated members of all different skillsets.
