With the passage of time, more sites will come which will provide similar or better information than coinmarketcap.

There are a lots of crypto project listing there and be better than coinmarketcap but the main reason why CMC is on top list of crypto projects because everyone see CMC is most fast and have a great view on every project they listed. so every investors will always choose cmc to find a better projects. so now no one can beat cmc for having great projects.

CoinMarketCap has repeatedly proved to us that fraudulent coins are often found on their site and the data displayed on their website is often untrue or distorted. It’s good that there are many alternatives with more reliable data. Although, if accuracy is not important to you, but only a general idea, then CoinMarketCap will completely help you.

There are more website are now available for know about this. But coinmarketcap is special. They provide all thinks whick is positive or negative both. Reported exchange site or Scam coin are marked. Although coinmarketcap have more feature like caurrency calculater, global chart and others. I hope you can understand what i want to say.

There are lot of website out there they gives statistics about trading cryptocurrencies out there which is similar to coinmarketcap but so far I haven't seen any of it that comes close to coinmarketcap. This is just like saying someone is trying to create a crypto coin that will be valuable than bitcoin which is not possible. Coinmarketcap is the bedrock which most active crypto users uses with huge reputation when it comes to getting real time data.

I would disagree. I think Coinpaprika is having much more information, and it has curated content.
It's much more in-depth, then CMC. Dunno, if anything beats it at level of details + number of coins described.

nice looks fresher and no faker?well since this is new still there are no issues coming so far not like coinmarketcapitalization in which making fake volumes just to make people believe that those currency is making going good but the truth is fading.

perhaps i will give this a chance and will use it instead of CMC that i had been using for years now.

thanks for compiling all the mentioned above for our own benefits,because i am now doubting the credibility of CMC because of those fake issues inside and that made us Look for other that might be more legit and wont fool us all.

I usually get my price updates from Crypto youtubers cause i need their financial advise. Coinmarketcap is one of my go to places for price reference it has more extended tools and you can see the biggest winners and losers if the price pumps or dumps.
It has also has a nice additional metadata of the tokens and BTC dominance.

Everything has a beginning and an ending... As more people realize that coinmarketcap give inaccurate data, they will definitely ditch it use alternatives. In fact i don't think coinmarketcap is as popular as it used to be in 2017.

Actually they are not that popular indeed.
Basic research gives us an answer - type in google something like "btc usd" or other popular trading pair and you won't meet CMC even in top 3 sites most of the times.
It is on the first page still ,but thats a matter of time I believe

It's hard to beat a stable and a site that is not an investment site and has been running for a long time, many people are very much accustom and familiar with Coinmarketcap and all the other new sites are just imitating Coinmarketcap but it's better to have more like this platform for better comparison, there are coins that are listed in Coinmarketcap but already lited in Coingecko.

It's a challenge to the same platform is CMC is not bitcoin in the market, it will always stay at the number 1, CMC might only be outdated and will be replace by its competitors in ranking if they themselves will leave the site and that is not gonna happen as they are making money with it.

I mean you can check by yourself just by googling basic trading pairs and cmc is not in top 5 most of the time
