TRIFID just anounced an airdrop of TRIF tokens at a ratio of 100:1 to current NEBLIO holders. That means for every 1 Nebl you possess, you will recieve 100 Trif NTP1 tokens. To recieve the airdrop you must have atleast 1 NEBL. There will be a snapshot at block height 166833, which approximately occurs on March 16th (six days to go) to determine your Neblio holdings.
There are two ways to recieve the tokens. First one, (this method is after the snap shot done on March 16th 2018) by entering private keys from your QT/daemon wallet, you can get tokens that were airdropped on the corresponding addresses. You would need to sweep tokens on orion wallet with your desktop wallet private key by following method. First obtain your private key: In the QT wallet, you must unlock your wallet completely, (uncheck the "For staking only" box). Then you can go to Help > Debug window > (tab) Console > enter dumpprivkey <neblioaddress> and note down your private key. Now go to your Orion wallet (bookmark this url
https://orion.nebl.io), you can click on the gearing wheel (upper right) > Advanced > Sweep tokens from private key. Enter the private key in the text box (The address must contain at least 0.0002 NEBL). Click the “Scan for Tokens” button. A scan should occur and the number of tokens held on that address should appear. Click the “Sweep Tokens” button.Note: Depending on the number of different NTP1 tokens held at the address this step may need to be repeated until TRIf is transferred.
Alternatively, use this simple method if you are not comfortable with entering your private keys on a web wallet or reluctant to check the block height. Transfer all your Nebls to your Orioin wallet on or before March 15th and wait for the snap shot on March 16th and transfer back your Nebls to your desktop wallet on March 17th. But please note that you will lose whatever the staking weight you accumulated and it will reset to zero.
After the snapshot, the only way to receive TRIF tokens will be on exchanges, which developers hope to be listed on soon. Token distribution will be completed shortly after the Neblio API suite is released. I will write another post for my take on TRIFID token. Some useful links
