I think bitcoin and other virtual money is a payments using a technology system that will be needed in the future. But some problems come up due to the increasing number of users, this payment technology should be like sending a message, it only takes a few seconds the money will get to the goal. But the problem with bitcoin is a slow and expensive transaction process can cause users to switch to be used as a source of income supported by a volatile price. If this happens in the future, then it is not impossible virtual currency will become a misconception, from the means of payment to be a source of income.

I would still use it because of it's nature to embrace the blockchain technology. I like this ICO bc they are aiming to level the price volatility through their arbitrage exchange which would attract the masses into a more "stable" crypto market.

I am pretty much interested to know how many people here uses bitcoin because of it's system, because of the anonymous and the security it provides, and because of the fact that it is really easy to transact over the internet, and there's no one who can just block your account(unlike paypal, a platform that provides an easy way to pay over the internet, but you rely on PayPal to keep your account open).

So, are you guys using bitcoin because of it's nature, or because it's a financial tool of making money?

Yes, I still use Bitcoin. I am a Bitcoin trader that's why I can't imagine a day without Bitcoin. And besides that, I am using Bitcoin for buying the necessary thing from online. Such as Domain, Hosting, Theme, Plugin, Gadget etc. I am using Bitcoin for is safety and high-speed transaction and it's privacy. I think most of the people using Bitcoin for its security and privacy.

in my opinion if the value of bitcoin stable then possible someday there is country will adopted bitcoin because many countries does not liked volatility of bitcoin and if bitcoin price stable i think the country will adopted it and i personally if bitcoin stable from year to year i think i would not use it again because sometimes volatility is not always bad and if we can utilize volatility situations i think possibly we can get benefit from that

The stability of the cryptocurrency can not affect its distribution. It seems to me that the most important thing is to unite in the bitcoin community primarily like-minded people. They will not be interested in the price of bitcoin in dollars. They will be interested in coins. Then we can talk about the cryptocurrency economy. Now we see a hybrid of two economic models. There are so many disadvantages of Fiat moved into the cryptocurrency.

With the arrival and time of bitcoin's stability, a wide utilization and adoptability
can be expected. Regardless of it's price and market rating.  This means bitcoins
is accepted with numerous establishments and stores, it has become what we all
wish it to be. I would use this, it's very convenient by then, a wide range of options
within reach with bitcoins sounds really promising and easy.

I do not understand the relationship between the title of this thread and the question asked by OP, I want to think that there has been an error on his part.

Regarding the question posed, I started using bitcoin for its efficiency as a payment system, although it is true that currently there seem to be better options, but I still believe that bitcoin has a good future as an alternative to traditional payment methods and towards there should be promoted its development rather than as a store of value.

Of course i would, the idea of blockchain to be your own bank is the advantage itself. You can manage your money without worry about unnecessary tax, sending it to anywhere or save it without losing it's value. All of that without bank intervention,so who wouldn't use it regardless of the price?

No one uses bitcoin as a normal currency anymore, it's the digital gold, everyone knows that now. A lot of people invest in gold even though it is not that stable either, sure it's not as volatile as bitcoin but its value does jump or crash too. Stability is subjective, even dollars and euros don't have a stable value however no one really cares what the eur/dollar conversion is unless they are trading. People use dollars without think of their vale in other currencies, 1 dollar is 1 dollar and that's what matters.
Never say nobody because I am that unicorn then I suppose. I don't use funds often but I like to use my Bitcoin as intended from the beginning, especially given the low fees right now. I would still be apart of Bitcoin if it wasn't as volatile but I won't lie it wouldn't be as fun then.

''around 20 million bitcoin users globally can be considered as a fair estimate.

The majority of these users will be private buy and hold investors who want to capitalize on the potential future price increase of the digital currency. In terms of actual day-to-day users of bitcoin as a spending currency, the number will be much smaller.''

https://www.bitcoinmarketjournal.com/how-many-people-use-bitcoin/

Obviously, some people are using bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies to pay for stuff but we are still far FAR away from a complete adoption. Yes, bitcoin has ''fast'' transactions but fiat has instant transactions, you buy anything with your credit card and it's paid basically instantly, there are no errors possible, no network congestion or massive fees. The truth is that bitcoin isn't really that great as a currency and that's fine, I don't think it should.

Now that the price is ''stabilizing'' a bit around 9000$ the volume is dropping and it's dropping fast, what we need is another huge pump for people to be interested again.

Reasons would really vary into each person but when it do speaks into ratio of people who do believe in such thing then i would really go for money making tool. Its sad to know but this is indeed the reality which people do make engagement into crypto because into its capability on making profits or money for the people who do make involvement with it but its not totally an easy stuff since we do still need to do hard work or having skills and risk management.

Definitely I'll still use bitcoin if it has a stable price. There are too many use and features that an individual benefit from it. Having your own fund accessible wherever you are and the tight security of the blockchain that is behind bitcoin. No need to interact with any third party, you can transact on your own but even it will have its stable price, it can still be a tool for making money.

I do not understand the relationship between the title of this thread and the question asked by OP, I want to think that there has been an error on his part.
I didn't see any error with it.

Well that is how I got in bitcoin in the first place I wanted to buy some products and some services and I did not had paypal so I was trying to figure out how to get those products and I realized that there was something called bitcoin and I was able to use it to buy what i needed since then I have bought some other stuff with it but lately I have been using bitcoin more as an investment and trading tool more than anything obviously for the profits that I can get but also because I do not have anything else to do with my bitcoin right now and because I do not need to buy anything else.

If anything, Bitcoin has more utility with a stable price. T would definitely help with adoption and use as a currency. The people you're attracting now are speculators and gamblers who are trying to profit in the short term off price swings. These are low quality users of the coin. If you lost them because the price was stable, that's a double benefit in my book. If it had a stable value, you'd have more people treating it like a currency, which I thought was the ultimate goal.

If that so happens then bitcoin would be much more famous in the market. As we all know, bitcoin stabilization means that it can now be used as a currency. And so with this I know that a lot and I  mean a LOT of people would be attracted to invest and use bitcoins especially now that bitcoin could be used for transactions and not only for investment purposes.

In case that the price of bitcoin becomes stable, I would use it more often times. For me, bitcoin will becomes a means of exchange or a payment because the price was no longer volatile. In that case, the traders or investors may use bitcoin not as a means of trade rather to be a storage of assets. Because there stabilize in the price, bitcoin can use in a daily services.

Bitcoin's main aim is to be a mean of exchange, but people misuse it and speculate on volatility. So, if it is stable, it will be convenient for businesses but bad for traders. Just as simple

Fiat might have fast transactions like bitcoin but lets say you have to send money abroad, how much time do you think it will take for the fiat currency to get clearance and can you compare with all the commissions involved the cost of sending money abroad will take,if you compare bitcoin,it is instant almost anywhere in the world and you do not need a third person, you can move any amount of money out of your country without much of an issue, you cannot tell the same with fiat.  Wink You wont be able to find a stable price for bitcoin, as long as there are people interested to buy the coin . The two options, speaking in my case I liked the options that bitcoin offers, some months I had the option to make buy online using virtual card and it was something fantastic, type 0.001 btc could buy very little and in months the same value 0.001 btc dava to buy many things, imagine that I sold many things that I had and took my money from my bank account to buy bitcoin and months later the price increased a lot, that was fantastic, I control my own money. with so many options that bitcoin offers I decided to start getting the knowledge to enter the world of mining and programming, so it is not only for money (investment), is also because of technology

I would use bitcoins as a currency if the price would become stable and also if the fees are going to change. Not only the fees between bitcoin transactions but also the fees for exchanging bitcoin into cash, it should be as low as the fees for exchanging usd to euro is but I guess that is almost impossible to happen.

Bitcoin has already become for the biggest majority of its users just a money making machine and we have to admit that because absolutely no one use bitcoin to go shopping everyday. Now, its going to be hard to change this mentality and anyway I dont think this volatility of bitcoin will change very soon since it is profitable for a lot of people.

Basically, I would be still using it knowing that it is already accepted in our country as a form of payment for goods and services. I don't feel like bitcoin will be going to be stable, its price will constantly change. If it reached the stable price, that only mean that it is already well developed and bugs and error are already fixed. Surely, Bitcoin would remain as useful as it is now to the future. I feel like bitcoin is tge preparation for a cashless society.
